The Rise of the Blood King

A general peace has gripped the heart of the Avalonian system. Mikkado rejoices and sings for a new and good tomorrow.

Three years after the Heart of the Guardian brought equality for his people on Mikkado, a general yet uneasy peace came across the Avalonian system. The segregation policies were being terminated and the old and ancient code of honor was being restored. A time of chivalry now became the unspoken law of the system. The people of the cities never gave it a name but the tribes of Avalon called it ‘Bushida.’ The tribes attributed this new peace to their one friend, the chosen Heart of the Guardian.

This story begins in the fortress of Sigara where two Jedi Knights were trying to negotiate a peace between the kataran herders and the warriors occupying the plains of Cyrus near the southern border of the Takashi Forest.

Jacen was with his wife Michaela trying to negotiate yet another peace arrangement between Sigara, the well reputed warlord and Naomi Basra, the Sheikah of the kataran herders. They normally got along well but this had to do with grazing lands now and it was a delicate issue. JC and Michaela were waiting for the arrival of Noami and were listening to Sigara rant about battle ground needs again. J.C calmly was speaking, "We know that you constantly keep ready for war. Still in order to work this out we must wait for Naomi to arrive. I've received word that her band will arrive tomorrow in the morning."

Lorien was slowly pacing back and forth on the brig of his Master's ship, although his Master wasn't there, he was in charge. "Where could he be..." He said in his dark, monotone voice. His face wasn't visible from under the hood of his Sith cloak, as the shadows covered his head.

His hands were covered in black fingerless gloves which revealed his black fingernails and his pale skin of his bony fingers. He had black leather boots that gleamed slightly off of the light from the viewscreen. "If he isn't here in ten minutes, we're leaving," Lorien said, standing infront of the viewscreen, looking out to the black space beyond.

'Is that an order?' one of the pilots said. Lorien glanced at him, his icy glare piercing into the man's eyes. "Yes, that is an order."

Trystan was sitting down in his room surrounded by two guards. A tribesman came in. "Master." He said. "J.C. and his wife had made it safely."

"Thank you for infroming me." Trystan said and the tribesman left the room.

The Blood King stared out torwards the vast open of space inbetween his own Capital Attack Cruiser and the rather small fleet escorting him torwards his Cruiser. The convoy was protected by numerous ships of different sizes and architecture as they approached the Cruiser. Multiple ships looked the same to the Blood King's for safety reasons, but he had major doubts that anyone would have the nerve to attack his forces. "Tell my apprentice Lorien to prepare for the arrival of his Lord."

As soon as he commanded it was done. The Blood King enjoyed such feats at that, 'Everyone shall bow down to the Blood King and his followers..any people who can't comply shall be crushed with the power of the Darkside..' He told himself. The Hangar bays opened up as carrier ships filed one by one into their designated hangars only the fighters and his own escort to enter the main hangar where The Blood King expected his forces to be filed in order waiting for their king...

(sorry if it isn't great I haven't rped in such a long time.)

(It's fine.)

"Face forward, form two single file lines. Pilots, put the ship on autopilot and join the ranks," he yelled. He picked up an intercom, "All soldiers, cooks, guards, come to the brig. The Blood King has arrived!" He said into the microphone, setting it down. He stood at the front of the line, crouched with his right knee forward and his other bent on the ground, his head bowed and his arms at his sides, his right hand rested on the enormous hilt of his Vibro-sword. (The 2-foot long hilt)

"She has given her word and it is about the time the herders move into this valley," J.C. replied patiently. Something else was bothering him and his wife knew it. He hadn't been sleeping much ever since he left Mikkado and went to Belos for a time. J.C shook it off and hoped that Sigara wouldn't explode and disgrace himself.

(works for me)

The Blood King supporters watched as the large hangar canopy doors hissed open giving them a full few of the convoy as it seperated into it's own sections of the ship. Only a visible force field seperated the soldiers from being sucked out like a vacuum into the abyss of space. The fighters remained in space as the Escort carrier landed in the hangar with a thud. What could've felt like hours to many it was only seconds until the loading ramp was lowered for the pilot followed by the King's Guard to exit the spacecraft. Slowly stepping from the shadows came the Blood King massive in size having to duck to avoid smacking his head against the top of the spacecraft. He slowly made his way past all of his men who were lined up side by side of him, behind him was his Royal Guard wearing the ceremonial red robes as they're faces were hidden by menacing visors. The Bloodking reached his apprentice Lorien, staring down at him he released the first words to his apprentice in a long time,

"Rise..."

(I loved writing this post haha, I had the Imperial March blaring as I wrote it.)

He slowly lifted his head and stood to his full 6'3" height. "Milord.. I am pleased you have arrived with such haste," he said, snapping his fingers as several guards led Lorien and his Master towards the conference room of the ship, heading down highly guarded hallways, masked blue lights flickered on with each stride they took.

"Milord.. we have reached the room. Many are waiting to speak with you, " he said, stepping to the side, allowing The Blood King to step inside. His guards quickly formed a line behind Lorien as he followed his Master, the guards blocking the door with a tight line of security.

The Blood King looked around the room as he entered seeing his generals rising and bowing their heads in a sign of respect and showing who's in command. The Blood King moved his way around the Generals sitting at the large gothic style table to the very end, farthest from the entrance to the conference room where he had situated himself infront of the chair, but he didn't bother to sit down.

"Sit."

He commanded with a slight hiss escaping the Celtic Mask he wore over his face that shouldn't be seen. With an outstretched hand he pressed a button on the large control board infront of him. In the middle of the table appeared the hologram of the galaxy with a few more clicks from the control board it presented the sector they were in. He pointed torwards a very familiar planet...

Trystan sat solemnly, polishing his bronze lightsaber's hilt. "I haven't battled in such a long time." Trystan sighed, realizing that at this point of his life, things were just going down hill. If JC didn't return, or if the negotiations won't turn out well, all of his tribes would be in grave danger. A guard ran in to the room that Trystan was in.

"Master, there is a fire in the village. Already many people have died. And the fire is quickly advancing!" The guard exclaimed.

"Do you know the cause of it?"

"I have no clue." The guard said as Trystan force sprinted out the door. Trystan looked at the fire. The guard was right. It was quickly spreading. Trystan ran towards the fire and used a force whirlwind to let what seemed like the source of it out. The fire stopped for a second, but then raged on again. This time Trystan tried to use a very strange method of putting it out. This move, normally people would associate with the dark side, but in this case, like all other cases that he had to use this move in, he used it for the light. Force Choke. The choke made the source of the fire lose all it's oxegyn, and as Trystan held it there, he saw what the source was. A droid flamethrower in an oily room. Trystan ignited his bronze lightsaber and struck the droid, but in the perfect spot so it wouldn't explode. Only 2 buildings were destroyed, but Trystan knew that this could not be just somebody's accident.

Lorien had since sat when his Master commanded him to. "Milord... what do you expect to do with such a lowly planet? I'm sure there are far better planets out there to do that to.." He said with a jolt as the Blood King pointed out that planet.

He and his Master had a bond- much like that between a padawan and a Knight, but more on the Dark side. They were able to feel each other's pain, listen to each other's thoughts, and move through the Force in unison- a deadly connection.

((You're doing fine. Think like Canderous but at heart, an old softie. If you need pointers, reread his dialogue and manner in the story))

J.C tried a diplomatic approach, "While we wait, perhaps we could have some tea. It would calm us all down."

He hoped that Sigara wouldn't forget his manners. He knew that while Sigara was an impatient sort, it was hard to miss the respect and love he had for Naomi. J.C recalled the last time they had met and they ended up feeding a kataran while laughing. Nope, it wasn't hard to see it, if you knew what to look for. J.C had much respect for Sigara as a fellow warrior and had learned that most of the affection laid in his mannerisms, gruff but meaningful. He hoped that good feeling would last.

The Blood King looked stiffly at his apprentice as he remained pointing at the hologram of the world. "Yes i'm aware this planet is of low quality, but to say the least our forces aren't ready for worlds closer to the core of the galaxy." The King looked around at everyone's expression inside the Conference Room, before continuing on," We have the numbers to put up great siege, but our technology is the only thing seperating us from controling the systems within the reach of the Blood Fist." The Blood King maximized the hologram to where it showed what the surface of the planet appeared to be.

"The planet's various sectors hold valuable technology devices which are found underground. The only problem is that anti-air turrets heavily guard the sector strong points. Our goal, before we even think about bombarding certain points on the planet is to destroy the turrets. We'll be able to deploy on this planet, but considering the defense mechanisms we must send in our elites to crush the defenses.."

Suddenly to everyone's surprise the Conference Room door opened, but no one came in and no one was waiting outside. Everyone in the room looked puzzled, except The Blood King, his apprentice, and the guards as they quickly moved to the front of the room, but the silence was broke after The Blood King commanded,

"At ease men.."

The Blood King rose out of his chair and stepped to the front of the room and faced the faces in the room,

"Gentlemen I introduce to you the Elite of The Blood Fist."

Suddenly behind The Blood King a full squad of hardened commandoes materialized in thin air to everyone's astonishment..

(The Blood Fist is what the Blood King's Forces are known as and the Commandoes were wearing stealth devices, which will become much more useful later in the story..)

"The sith are after the Heart of the Guardian.." Trystan whispered to himself after examining the evidence. It was a sith droid and they burnt down J.C.'s home. "Good thing he wasn't there." Trystan went back to his own building and walked up to a guard.

"I need to leave." Trystan said and walked back outside to his own ship. He started it up and began to set off for the fortress to warn J.C. As he zoomed through the Takishi forest, looking for the fortress. Finally he spotted it and landed. "J.C!" He shouted and ran through the doors.

Lorien slowly stood up, walking over to the guards. "The best of the best... personally trained by yours truly.." He said, standing infront of them, facing the crowd. "These men will be the infantry, special forces- if you may. There will be two per turret, five turrets in all," he said, walking back to the side of the group.

"I will take my own turret, and the squad will get together and take out the final one- which will be heavily guarded, due to the other four which have recently been.. erased.. so to speak."

He slowly made his way back to his seat, tapping the hologram a few times. He didn't sit down, but merely leaned over the table. He pointed to the four corners of the planet and the middle. "Each of these key locations will be the residence of the turrets," he said, stopping for the Blood King to finish the speech.

J.C turned his head at the sound. Outside he could hear Naomi arriving with the herders but on the inside someone was calling his name. He turned to find Lord Trystan coming through the doors. It was unthinkable for a tribal leader to leave his people behind, at least without proper substitute. J.C had seen many leaders fall because of that and he wondered what was so urgent that required Lord Trystan to leave his people.

The Blood King smiled grimly under the Ceremonial Celtic Mask he wore shrouding his face for no one to see as his apprentice informed the other generals of the plans. "Just to inform you, I shall prove all negatives into positives, by allowing my Special Forces, including my apprentice to siege the turrets without me." The Blood King watched as many faces turned cold as he informed them of the situation, but he wasn't surprised to see his Special Forces and his apprentice only look more determined. Continuing on as he cut the chatter, by clearing his throat. "Ground support will be deployed after the first tower has been destroyed. The support will consist of platoons of infantry and most of the demolishers." One of the men inside the conference room interjected, "The anti-air turrets will destroy the chances of any deployment on the planet." The King gave him a cocked look as he moved to the opposite of the room," The first wave of units deployed won't be traveling by dropships. They'll be traveling by one man carriers, capable of avoid turret fire with ease. Each craft has it's own shield to avoid overheating when entering the atmosphere, but most important each capsule will self destruct after five minutes of deployment.."

(Demolishers are the tanks of the Blood Fist and they will have their own superior capsule to avoid being shot down.)

(Just to let you know, he did leave a subsitute. They guy that he told that he was leaving.)

"J.C. I have something very urgent to tell you.. But it may hurt. I know you are very brave but the following thing I am about to tell you may haunt your life forever.. Are you willing to receive my message?" Trystan asked.

"Not now. Naomi approaches," and sure enough the herders made their appearance into the main field with their herds of katarans. J.C had a sudden vision that wasn't pleasant:

It was dark and foggy near the Chinooka River near the village that he lived in. He saw himself walking along the shores, following something, not knowing what it was, but it was always there in front of him. It led him into a clearing where he saw a dire wolf, the most majestic and regal of all the animals in the Takashi Forest. He followed his gaze towards the sky and there saw a light coming across the sky coming to land in the forest.

Then the scene became cloudy. He heard screams and felt pain burning throughout his body. Through the heat, the smoke and the blood, he saw a shadow. It was a tall one but he could not see the face and yet, it’s presence was familiar…

Snapping out of it, J.C turned to Sigara and his wife and said, "Someone is coming and war will be brought."
