Wanting to learn how to mod...

Hi people, just made my account here, but i've been a visitor to pcgamemods for quite some time.

Im really interested in learning how to mod KOTOR : 1.

I was looking at the stuff you need, the KOTOR modding tool, and i followed the links to download it, but nothing appeared in the downloads section of the page.

I was wondering what type of mods can be made, what are some of the most innotive and complex mods?

I would really like to be able to add new area's to the game along with quests etc. I've have little to no computing knowledge, but am willing to learn to be able to make good things for the game.

If anyone could help me out, and give me a working link to the kotor tool i'd be most grateful.

Also if any one could say other things i would need and give me tips etc i'd be appreciative.

Thanks in advance all :twogun:

The downloads page takes a long time to load, and then none of the downloads appears, just two lines of text at the top of the page, so im going to have to wait abit in order to get .net framework.

I've been gonig through the tutorials boads, thanks for the link :)

What would be a good 'begginner' mod for me to try out, and create?

Ok downloaded .net, i'll install it in a bit.

I've been reading through the forums looking at tutorial sections etc, and im wondering what would be a 'first easy/good' mod for me to try and create?

I'll hopefully be able to learn to script and do more advanced things in time but atm, i know pretty much 0
