Jae Onasi
If I'm in the 'finish as many sidequests as possible and hear all the stories,' mode, I'll go to all the planets, but I won't actually go get the star maps until I've advanced stories as far as I can. It also depends if you're playing LS male/female and going for the romance options or going DS. If DS--I usually hit Tatooine first to pick up HK and Korriban quickly for good DS points LS, non-romance--Kashyyyk first to pick up Jolee (always good to have an extra Jedi) LSM, romance--Tatooine first once you get Bastila's mother quest LSF, romance--Korriban first once you get Dustil quest Since I like the Jolee character a lot, I'll go to Kashyyyk first and play only as far as the point where Jolee joins the party but not complete the star map, then go do the other planets in my preferred order. However, there's a zillion ways to play it, and as long as you're having fun with it, there's no wrong way.
Jasper_Kazai
Since I like the Jolee character a lot, I'll go to Kashyyyk first and play only as far as the point where Jolee joins the party but not complete the star map, then go do the other planets in my preferred order. I was thinking of doing that, too. I think I might. Although, now that Mission and Carth are Jedi (and they rip through kath hounds like they're paper bags), I don't know. igyman
I usually travel in this order: Manaan Tatooine Kashyyyk Korriban or Kashyyyk Tatooine Manaan Korriban

DarthOxyClean
haha, the first time i played it, i made the mistake of going to Kashyyyk first. It was a mistake because my character was so weak, the reason being whenever i had to level up, i kept pressing the recomended button, which only increased my "treat injury" skill. i spent months stuck there, untill my friend told me to not press that button, and to go in this order: 1. Tatooine 2. Manaan 3. Kashyyk 4. Korriban And then the game became much easier. haha, i am an idiot...
Soogz
I would recomend doing Kashyyk first and Korriban last. That way you get the most obnoxious one out of the way first, and the easiest one done last. Then you can do what ever you want in the middle. But I think that where you travel to first depends on how strong your character is after Dantooine. If your character is weak, I would definitly go to Tatooine or Manaan first, because there are many Sidequests that you can gain experience from and gain levels. Then you can take on Kashyyyk, the most enemy-filled planet (unless you count all of the sith on korriban enemys)
Vibro
I tend to do it like this: Tatooine Korriban Kashyyk Manaan
DarthVandar205
I realized how much I missed out on side quests on my first playthrough. I've heard of Griff (after skimming through the walkthrough I use), but how exactly do I progress on that? Free Griff from the sand people by talking to the cheif there about him. Tell Griff hes free to go after that. Then go to the Czerka store and he will tell you he needs a tach gland for his new get rich quick scheme for some exchange guy he was supposed to meet that he told he already had the stuff for him. Go to Kashyyk and buy a tach gland or kill a tach monkey in the shadowlands *by agreeing to the tach poaching sidequest*. Return to Tatooine, give the gland to Griff. He says he needs some time to brew the Ale so leave and come back in. You find him decidely absent and Greeta Holda the Rodian who manages the store tells you that Griff's Ale didnt work and he left in fear of his life. Who the hell is Jagi? And, again, how do I progress on that? Jagi is a mandalorian Canderous fought beside during the Mandalorian Wars. Talk to Canderous as much as you can and eventually someone named Jagi will approach Canderous in one of the docking bays and challenge him to a duel in the dune sea. Go with Canderous to the dune sea and fight Jagi or try to negotiate with him. As for Carth and Juhani... Same thing. Do I just keep talking to them or something to progress? The walkthru I use isn't real descriptive on side quests, and has basically nothing on the party member's side quests. Unfortunately, it's the only strictly-PC version walkthru on GameFAQs. With Carth, keep talking to him until he mentions his wife and son. Someone will approach him and mention his son is alive and training to be a sith on Koriban. Go to Koriban, find his son Dustil *take Carth with you*. When you find Dustil, Carth tells him about how bad the sith are. Dustil wants him to prove the sith are bad and then he will leave. Find a way into Uthar Wynn's room, open the footlocker inside, take the datapad out and return to Dustil. Once he sees the datapad, he leaves and returns to Telos. As for Juhani, keep talking to her until she mentions her early life on Taris and this old Twilek will confront her *usually on Manaan* named Xor and she remembers him from when she was a slave, but the jedi saved her from him. He wants to buy her back and when she refuses he vows to return. Eventually you encounter him and a couple of his thugs in a docking bay *usually Manaan or Kashyyk*. Fight them. Then tell Juhani to avoid the dark side after fighting Xor and he will die from his wounds.
