RoxStar
Last Thursday, I came home, switched on my computer, and discovered that it wouldn't turn on. So i checked all the connections, they were in right, still didn't boot. Next, I basically stripped the computer of anything periphereal (sound, video, hard drives, dvd drive) and powered it on. No luck. So I bought a new pwer supply, and guess what? I'm still having the same problem. Does anyone have any idea as to what could be going on? MrWally
Maybe your motherboard died on you? That's all I can think of...
Sigundr
Did yah make sure the power in the house was on? Otherwise, it might have been some little thing that you missed between the powersource and the comp.
Det. Bart Lasiter
That's happened to me as well. I just switched the PSU on and off until the computer turned on. ***Edit*** I attributed my problem to an overheated power supply.
BongoBob
I almost RMA'd a PSU because I forgot to turn the PSU on That sucks man. I'd try putting the PSU in another comp and see if it powers on. If not, RMA it (or return it), and try the other one. If it does, then the only thing I can think of is that your mobo is screwed : \ Sorry bout the computer issues man. As long as your Hard Drive is fine though
Alegis
*ninja topic steal* Any special HAX to get a AGP graphics card working on PCI ? Or moving chipsets. Quite a bummer actually, can't move my neat graphics card to a PC that has a better processor etc and thus would fit better as new gaming station. RoxStar
I nearly bought an AGP - PCI adapter once. It does the job, but it makes the card operate at PCI bus speeds.
