BongoBob
Well, I went ahead and decided to give the Windows Media Player 11 beta a whirl. I installed it, and then went to play some music, and discovered that the audio was going through the left channel only. I checked my settings in Volume Control, and they're balanced fine, but nothing is coming through the right speaker. It was working right before I upped WMP to 11. Anybody here have an idea of how to fix this? Any thanks would be greatly appreciated. It's really annoying me >< EDIT: Well, it seems that the cord to my speakers had come loose. Let this be a reminder to everyone that the simple answer is usually the best answer >.> <.< Feel free to add an pwn3d pic

BongoBob
Meh, I like the library features of it. I do mainly use winamp when it comes to audio though, simply because it uses less resources. Somehow I knew that you would post that pic TiE
Sabretooth
I too tried WMP 11. IMO, it's crashy and slow and dark. I like the new look, but I'm staring to get a feeling MS doesn't do anything else to it. The Library sorting is good and all, but I don't see any other major change in the thing. They didn't even update their skins, those bastards. I say you send the stuff to feedback or a FAQ or something. Microsoft is hopeless, but worth giving a try. (very contradictory, isn't it). Det. Bart Lasiter
Media Player Classic is superior. It's the only other media player I have installed on my machine and the only one I use on a regular basis (the RealPlayer Alternative and QuickTime Alternative codecs have saved me from having to install those two pieces of s***). MrWally
For audio I've always liked iTunes and for videos... DivX ftw!!!
TiE23
I use Real Player for videos because of it's seeking and stream liney-ness (less screen space taken up. I don't listen to as much music as I used to, but I use either WMP 11 or Creative Music Player.
Det. Bart Lasiter
Bah! F***! I hate Real the most! Don't they monitor you or something? and/or install adware and other crap on your pc? Though I think it's real big in Asia for some reason. Yes. You have to be on their network to finish the installation and use RealPlayer. PR-0927
I HATE RealPlayer. Windows Media Player isn't that great either, but I use it. I used to use Winamp years ago, but I HATE Winamp now. It's too messy and buggy. It's also not professional-looking enough for me. I like iTunes the most. - Majin Revan
jon_hill987
Curently I use WMP 10. basicly beause i don't want to have about 15 different programs installed and it seems to play most audio and video. I also use Virtual DJ, Intervideo WinDVD and Quicktime. Wouldn't it be nice if you didn't need a media player at all and all audio and video could jus run from windows. like pictures do.
