St. Jimmy
Never played it. DEEEEeefinately intend to though.
Terran I
I haven't bought it yet, but i played all previous Hitman, so I don't doubt it's great. So if anyone can tell me what has changed since the last game, about the gameplay.
JediKnight707
Well, you can customize guns, that's the new thing. I played it, and I'd give it an 8/10. It was just too short.
oldflash
There are major improvements on gameplay. Except training level I have play all others only with upgraded handgun. On few missions I don't even shoot a single bullet. It was nice however.
Mav
I have it for the PS2, I found it very fun, it lasted me a good month or so I'd say.
igyman
The Hitman series are one of the best I've played and Blood Money is definitely a game you don't want to miss. It's not quite what I expected, story-wise, but it's a great and really fun game nonetheless. The only negative remark I have when it comes to missions is that there's no mission where you really get the chance to use your W2000 sniper rifle properly, you know, find a nice, distant vantage point and take out your target silently from a great distance. Oh, yeah, and it's too bad that there are only 13 missions, unlike Hitman 2 where there were little over 20 of them. Yes, Requiem is a mission, not the credits. stingerhs
i thought that Blood Money was a lot more of the same great stealth action from the previous games. excellent level design and some welcome new features made this one a bit easier to play than the last couple games. the story seemed more of an excuse to tie the missions together more than anything else, though. that and the gameplay can be a bit too much trial and error at times. overall: 8/
CountVerilucus
igyman, you can snipe on numerous levels. there are opportunities to do so, you just have to look for them. Check guides and stuff, they might be able to tell you.
igyman
There are opportunities, I know, but none of those levels is a real snipe mission, none of them puts you in the situation where a sniper rifle is necessary to achieve Silent Assassin rating, unlike the previous sequels, but, like I said, the game is still one of the best I've played. As for guides, I don't need 'em, I've finished every mission with Silent Assassin rating, so I think I know practically every way to kill a target in a mission. Anyway, if anyone needs help with a mission, don't hesitate to ask.
montnoir
The freedom to hit a mark is bigger, the AI improved and the level design is top-notch. The FBI-safehouse hit is pure genious. 9/
igyman
Don't you just love the FBI van stake-out outside the house. Great stereotype exploited.
swphreak
I especially liked it when I filled the two agents in the van full of lead. Blood Money (360 version) is the first Hitman game I've really played. I remember trying a demo for one of the older ones, but couldn't get into it. Blood Money is a great third person stealth action game, and I'm not even a big fan of "stealthy games." Anyone waiting for Hitman V? Wait... they're making a Hitman movie? Lantzen
Those two FBI agents are so stupid. I planted a bomb outside, and then open the door and run away. The agent took the bomb inside the van... But the game is really annoying for me, it crash and i have read on the forum there forum how to fix it. It's something about turning off the sound quality, but then the sound is terrible. And i think it's weird they dont fix that problem in a patch, for i have seen several threads about it
igyman
The latest patch - 1.2 fixed all problems I had with the game, now it works fine and never crashes. As for the FBI safehouse mission - a free guide from yours truly (me): If you want to finish that mission with the Silent Assassin rating all you have to do is wait for the waiter and the guard that comes out near the garage to go inside, which happens immediately at the beginning of the level, then you go to the delivery van where the waiter was and you use your sedative syringe on the donut box. After that it's pretty easy - you wait for the waiter to come back outside and bring the donuts to the two agents, when they eat the donuts you go inside their van and turn off the cameras, then you dress as an agent and go inside, where you use the second sedative on the bottle of drink in the kitchen and go upstairs where you wait for the target to enter his room. As soon as he enters, you sneak in behind him and strangle him, or poison him, by the time you do that his wife will be unconcious from the drugged drink in the kitchen, you simply take the microfilm and leave. (don't forget to return to the FBI van and take your clothes. And make sure nobody sees you as you enter and exit the FBI van in your own clothes.) oldflash
Did you try to use air rifle to get tranquilized dog and FBI agent?
Lantzen
Much more fun to mix with the grill at the pool to get the microfilm
igyman
@oldflash: I tried it. Have you tried to throw a poisoned weener to the dog? (there's one at the same place where you get the tranquilizer ammo, behind the trash cans) As I've said before I've finished each mission so many times and I've finished them with the Silent Assassin rating, so I know all the ins and outs for each of them. @Zat: Oh, yes, the barbecue. I couldn't agree more, but that way you kill the wife, which isn't necessary and the explosion could accidentally kill one of the agents, or that pool guy and that could prevent you from finishing the mission with Silent Assassin rating. oldflash
Sure but I don't like to kill dogs. For me best mission was the private partys (heaven party).
igyman
Oh, yes. I loved that one. The one at the casino was great too, not to mention the party at the Rocky Mountains. And what about that last one - Requiem? Man I was excited when I figured out it wasn't the end and when the massacre began.
Mav
Wait... they're making a Hitman movie? Yea... and macho man Vin Diesel is set to play the role of quiet stealthy Agent 47. I think John Jason Statham, the guy from the Transporter movies and Snatch, would have been perfect for the role, or even David Bateson, the voice actor for 47 would have been fine, but not Diesel... anyway, back on-topic, A New Life was indeed one of the funner missions, but I also liked Curtains Down, I beat that mission in around 40 seconds and still got S.A. Just an FYI his name is Jason Statham, and I agree he was my choice too. -RH Doh, thanks RH, I knew I got it wrong

"From Diana with love" That was really unexpected but is good to know that will be another hitman. Maybe next will be with more "one bullet" missions. igyman
Yea... and macho man Vin Diesel is set to play the role of quiet stealthy Agent 47. I think John Statham (sp?), the guy from the Transporter movies and Snatch, would have been perfect for the role, or even David Bateson, the voice actor for 47 would have been fine, but not Diesel... I agree 100%. Anyone but Diesel, he just doesn't have that face, or the acting skills for that matter. anyway, back on-topic, A New Life was indeed one of the funner missions, but I also liked Curtains Down, I beat that mission in around 40 seconds and still got S.A. Yup, one of my favourites also. I used to disguise myself as that actor who's supposed to shoot the target, but lately I just place a bomb on the reflectors and crush the guy with them, then I take out the ambassador with the Silverballers and I do it from that platform you get to through the hole in the floor. (I just can't get the ambassador to stand for more than a few seconds beneath that huge chendalier (spelling? what can I say, I don't use that word very often.)) I especially liked it when I filled the two agents in the van full of lead. Right. And how about shooting your target through a closed door (when he hides in the closet in the living room). coupes.
His name is actuallyJason Statham and he had been coinsidered for the role some time ago. I don't know what happened with the project. As for the 2 FBI agants in the van... You can poison the doughnuts in the van when the guy isn't there, then waint until the 2 agents take a bit and pass out.
