Revan's Immaturity

Not so sure about that, b/c even a male Revan got poor little Carth flustered, though in a different way (hopefully ;^/ ). Bastilla seemed to be in better control of herself when Revan was female. Guess we'll just have to chock it up to a gender perspective on which was more fun, continuing on yet another front the eternal battle of the sexes.......

I didn't think of it as "immature." Most of it was Revan having a sense of humor - usually I play him as that way. I agree with the "I want to be a...." line, but as for the others, what would you have him say?

I don't think he was immature, those dialogue options are there to help the player establish who Revan is. Wether the player wants him to be some lovable scamp or a complete bar-steward. The humour does push along the game and makes any potentially cheesy moments go smoothly with minimal cheese.

I love doing the funny lines with Bastila. I hate her, and seeing her snobbish, foolish, intolerant reactions to obvious jokes is a hilarious way to amplify my disdain for her.

They are there because Revan was like that, I forget who says it (maybe Jolee or Canderous) but they say Revan was always charismatic. Now, if you choose those humorous options I guess it just means your more like the old revan. (not dark side though...just his personality...unless of course u are darkside...anyways)

Y'see, a lot of the pick-up lines you used on Bastila as a male Revan made me cringe. Any guy using those on me could end up with my coffee in his lap. Plus, Bastila can't really take it. Look at how she takes the bait with Canderous and Mission. It's like kicking your downed opponent.

 

One of the reasons why I play female? Flyboy can both take it and dish it out. I mean, he challenges the lady Revan to insult him at one point and taunts "Ouch, I think you hurt my man-feelings with that one." Another conversation, and it deteriorates into "I oughtta take you over my knee!"

Indeed, Carth is more man than Bastila is woman. Which is one reason why it's fun to humiliate her...

seeing bastila get all flustered is just hilarious, imho. i was actually laughing out loud. esp when she says silly things like "Besides, I know you can't be serious, since I was purposefully *not* staring in your direction."
