Det. Bart Lasiter
Just wondering what other Linux users here are using for their desktop environments.
TSR
Don;t use Linux. I'd probably break my comp beyond repair somehow.
Astrotoy7
I have Ubuntu (and Vista RC2) as a Virtual Machine via VM Workstation. Been too busy to do anything much with either though. VM Workstation is an awesome app though, takes the partition and dual/triple boot shenanigans out of multi OS installs. What's more - you can install a virtual machine as Legacy windows OS, eg.Win98 to play all your super old school windows games that wont work with XP mtfbwya
Jeff
I use GNOME on Ubuntu, I like it pretty well. I've never tried KDE, the only other window manager I've tried was fluxbox but I didn't like it as much.
CalcProgrammer1
I use Ubuntu, as well as XP on a separate HDD, GNOME is default on Ubuntu. I also have an old Pentium machine that runs Puppy Linux (either fluxbox or jwm) and I have a laptop that runs Win2000 and another Pentium machine that runs Win95.
