Anakin Skywalker Posted December 21, 2006 Share Posted December 21, 2006 This one, I will not work on until after I have finished the Mandalorian Wars, which will be soon, because I want to work on this one.... Star Wars The Chosen One! WAR! Civil war has been upon the Republic for the past seventeen years, a five year old boy, named Anakin Skywalker was takin into Padawan training at the begining of the war. He is now a Jedi Knight, the Chancellor has been captured by the villanous General Grevious, and the Master of the Darkside Darth Tyrannus. The Jedi have called upon Jedi Knights Anakin Skywalker, and Obi-wan Kenobi to defend the Republic, and save the captive Chancellor. Unfortunately, the two Jedi were in the Outer Rims, so it would take a while for them to get there, so the Jedi and Clone Troopers up in the battle had to stall Grevious' Flagship The Invisible Hand.... Prologue "All pilots to their fighters!" Anakin said, Force Jumping into his personal Jedi Fighter. "Anakin, slow down!" Jedi Master Obi-wan Kenobi said to his previous padawan. "But Master... the chancellor is being taken away from Courscant, and it is our duty to make sure that the chancellor survives the battle, and is not taken prisoner." Anakin said. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Master what is thy bidding?" Count Dooku asked, bowing to the Dark Lord of the Sith. "Make sure Skywalker and Kenobi reach me... and then you may fight and kill Kenobi!" Darth Sidious replied. "But, Master, Kenobi would make a good ally, and he is fully trained, unlike Skywalker." The Count countered. Darth Sidious looked down at his hands... "You better be glad that I'm captive, otherwise your head would be rolling on the floor for that kind of comment!" ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "General Skywalker, we are getting ready to pull out of hyperspace, and into the battle over Courscant." Clone Commander Cody said. "Good, Cody, I want the chancellor to be located and brought home, safely." Anakin replied. Cody nodded and then turned to another trooper, and whispered something unintelligable for a non-Mandalorian... Cody turned back to Anakin. "Sir, we are locating the chancellor as we speak!" Cody said. "Good, notify me when you find something." Anakin said as his holo figure faded from Cody's capital ship. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Flying is for droids!" Obi-wan muttered to himself. "What was that master?" Anakin asked. "Oh, nothing Anakin." Obi-wan replied to him. Obi-wan's voice faded from the comlink over Anakin's head. But he could still hear him, clear as a bell... due to the Force Bond the two shared. Stupid droids! Obi-wan thought. Anakin laughed at his master, as the droid fighters were coming and clipping the wings of the fighter. "Master, fighter droids are coming up behind us!" Anakin reported. "They have missles Anakin!" Obi-wan said. "Lift up!" Anakin commanded Obi-wan. "They missed! Ha ha... stupid droi..." Obi-wan started. "They're coming around." Anakin replied. "Dang, just when I thought things couldn't get worse." Obi-wan retorted. Anakin dodged the missles again and destroyed them... Obi-wan just dodged them until they hit another droid.... So uncivilized, and unwise... Anakin thought to himself. Finally the two reached General Grevious' ship and landed, but the entire docking bay was filled with droids........ Chapter 1 "Master, we need to hurry!" Anakin said chopping the last droid in two. "R2, stay with the ship." "Let's go, Anakin." Obi-wan said. It wasn't long, before they reached the Throne Room, where the Supreme Chancellor was being held captive. "Chancellor, are you all right" Anakin asked. "Count Dooku." Palpatine said with a his nose scrunched up. "Your swords please, let's not make a mess in front of the Chancellor." Dooku said. Obi-wan activated his blue lightsaber, and Anakin his cyan.. "This time we'll do it together..." Obi-wan whispered to Anakin. "I was about to say that." Anakin replied. Anakin, Obi-wan, and Count Dooku all locked Lightsabers... but it was only a matter of time, until Count Dooku knocked Obi-wan out of the ring, and landed a pile of Debris on top of him. Anakin's anger was welling up inside him, but he kept it contained, he would not give in to the Dark side. Anakin pushed the anger back down, and let it flow out of his own two feet, a techniqe he had learned on a planet presumed dead, Kataar, but in reality, it held a lot of Force Sensitive people, who were willing to help a Jedi. "You have anger, you have hate, but you don't use them..." Count Dooku said. Well of course I don't Count, I am a Jedi... Anakin thought to himself. Count Dooku made the mistake of trying to stab Anakin, and Anakin grabbed his arms and cut off both his hands. Dooku's red twisted hilt lightsaber fell in to Anakin's free hand, he crossed the Lightsabers, and put them up to Dooku's neck. "Kill him, kill him NOW!" Palpatine said to Anakin. "I shouldn't..." He sighed. "DO IT!" Palpatine replied. Dooku's eyes were huge, wondering whether or not Anakin would kill him, and then Anakin deactivated the lightsabers. "It is not the Jedi way to kill a helpless soul." Anakin said. Dooku stood up, and replied, "Thank you Skywalker, you have given me a chance to redeem myself. Anakin had a few extra Droid parts, and he had learned a Force Power, to which he could completely stop time. Anakin stopped time ultimately, and sat down working on two new droid hands for Dooku. He put them on Dooku's arms, before turning time back on it's course. Anakin and Dooku ran over to Obi-wan's body, and they both lifted the Debris off of his body, with the Force. Anakin threw Obi-wan over his shoulder, and took off to the elevator with the Chancellor on Dooku. Palpatine didn't say a word, as he was shocked Anakin didn't do what he asked him to do. The elevator turned over and the ship was under heavy fire, so Anakin and Dooku jumped out of the elevator, with Obi-wan over Anakin's shoulder, and Palpatine over Dooku's. Then Obi-wan woke up, to a startling, and akward position, he was still slumped over Anakin's shoulder, and then he leaped off of Anakin, barely grabbing on to his waist. He looked down... "Easy!" Anakin said, we're in a bit of a situation.... Obi-wan looked down and saw Dooku holding on to Anakin. "What's he doing here?" "I'll explain it all later, for now, let's focus on the present, and try and find a way out of here." Anakin said, and then grabbed his comlink. "Artoo, are you there? Artoo, do you copy?" "Beep beep dwoo wheep!" The little astromech droid replied. "We're stuck in the elevator shaft, can you send an elevator up to us?" Anakin asked. "Bee-beep." R2-D2 replied, and rolled over to the computer outlet. The elevator shaft came alive with the sounds of a screeching elevator, and Anakin looked up.... "Artoo, shut it down." "Too late, JUMP!" Obi-wan said. Anakin let go of the chord he was hanging on to, and all four of them fell, but Anakin and Obi-wan had a trick up their sleeve, they attached themselfs to a grappling hook, and jumped inside a corridor, just as an elevator came crashing though where they were just a few seconds ago. All four of them got up and ran, but they were sooned trapped by ray shields. "Ray shields, blast, how did this happen, we're smarter than this." Obi-wan said. "Apparently not..." Anakin said jokingly to the Jedi Master. "I say patience." "Patience?" Obi-wan asked. "Yes, in a few minutes, Artoo will be here, and then he'll release the ray shields." Anakin replied. Artoo came buzzing into though the door, and then hit a wall, and fell over. "See." Anakin said. Then Super Battle Droids, Droidekas, and Battle Droids came storming in the room. "Got a plan B?" Obi-wan asked. "I may have..." Dooku said. "I may be able to confuse them, make them think I am still Darth Tyrannus..." "Go for it." Anakin said. "Droids, you will let us go! I demand it, I have these Jedi as prisoners." Dooku said. The droids looked at each other, and then set Dooku and the Jedi free. "That astromech droid is coming with me also." Dooku said. The five left, headed for the bridge of the ship. Artoo, followed closely behind Anakin, just before they got to the bridge, Dooku jumped inside an escape pod, and motioned for Anakin, Obi-wan, Artoo, and Palpatine to get in it with him. The four jumped in, and took off. Anakin quickly jammed in a code, for Commander Cody's flagship. The ship turned on it's tractor beams, and pulled them in. Anakin ran to the pilot's seat, and headed strait to Courscant. The entire Republic fleet was behind them, and Grevious and his allies jumped into hyperspace, assuming the Chancellor, and Dooku were still onboard. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anakin took Dooku to the Council, where they were waiting on both of them. "Skywalker, we have decided to give you a seat on the Council, and the rank of Jedi Master." Mace Windu said unhappily, having been beaten by the rest of the Council. "And as your first act as Jedi Master, what do you propose we do with Dooku?" Obi-wan asked. "I say, allow him to join the Jedi again, to be able to redeem himself." Anakin said. "So be it." Mace said. "Mmm..... good choice you have made, young Skywalker." Yoda said. Anakin smiled... "Take a seat Anakin." Obi-wan said. "Dooku, your old room is waiting for you, along with a new set of Jedi Robes, to replace your Sith ones." Anakin said. "Also, I have taken the liberty of constructing a new lightsaber for you, until you can make another one yourself." Anakin lifted a twisted hilt off of his belt using the Force, and gave it to Dooku. Dooku activated it, and it had a very brilliant lime yellow blade. Dooku deactivated it, and bowed to the Council and left. "Anakin you have done well, you truely deserve the title of Jedi Master." Obi-wan said, and the rest of the Council nodded their heads. "Now if you will excuse me, I would like to retire to my chambers, I am very tired." Anakin said. "Very well, but be in the Council chambers early tomorrow morning, we have a lot of planning to do." Mace said. Anakin smiled, and ran to the landing pad, where he was met by R2-D2, Anakin put him in the little speeder, and then took off. -------------------------------------------------------------- After driving for what seemed an endless time, Anakin finally reached Padme's apartment, where he was greeted by the Droid C-3P0. "Oh, the maker..." Threepio said. "Mrs. Padme, Mrs. Padme, Anakin is here." Padme walked through the door, and then ran and hugged her husband. "Thank you for returning the Chancellor.... the Senate would have been a mass massacre palace had he not been returned." Anakin gently kissed her, and then replied, "He is my friend, I would have done it, even if he wasn't the Supreme Chancellor." Padme hugged him one last time, before he went to bed. "Good night, Anakin, I love you." Padme said. "Good night, Padme, I love you too." Anakin replied, slipping out of his shirt. The golden droid is called "C-3PO", not "C3-P0" unless you named it. 2. Please add more detail on Chancellor and Count Dooku, like their action and thinking. Anakin Skywalker Posted December 29, 2006 Author Share Posted December 29, 2006 Chapter 2 Anakin woke up in the middle of the night... breathing heavily and sweating really bad. He pulled a cloak over his body and walked into the next room. Padme woke up and saw his shadow walking into the room. She got up and followed, when she reached him, Anakin was sitting on the couch, staring into space. "What's wrong?" Padme asked. Anakin slowly stood up. "Nothing..." Anakin said, as he picked up the necklace Padme was wearing. "I remember when I made this for you." "Don't do this, don't shut me out..." Padme said. "Let me help you." "I had a dream..." Anakin started. "A bad one?" Padme asked. Anakin slowly nodded. "It was like the dreams I used to have about my mother, just before she died..." Anakin started again. "And they were about you." Padme's eyes widened for a split second. "They will not happen, I promise you." "No, I promise you!" Anakin replied. "Hold me.... hold me like you held me on Naboo, when there was no war, no plotting against the Republic." Padme said. Anakin wrapped his arms around Padme and the two stood there like that for a few minutes, and then Anakin took Padme back to bed. Anakin didn't have anymore nightmares for the rest of the night, he woke up early the next morning, and found Artoo in the speeder waiting for him. Anakin had already had a shower, and was in his robes, Padme had washed them the night before. "Ready to go back to the Temple Artoo?" Anakin asked. "Beep beep dwoo wheep!" The little droid replied. The duo headed back to the Jedi Temple, when Anakin recieved a message from Master Yoda on his comlink. "Skywalker, come to the Council room you must, a mission we have for you." The old master said. "Very well Master, I was on my way there anyway, due to what Master Windu told me." Anakin replied. "On the look out for the Darkside you must be, Master Anakin..." Yoda said. "I will be ready..." Anakin replied. "Mmm..... Very well...." Yoda's blue holographic figure said fading. Anakin landed his shuttle on the Landing pad, where he was met by Jedi Master Obi-wan Kenobi...... "Have a rough night?" Obi-wan asked, noticing Anakin's messed up hair. "Possibly...." Anakin said. "But for now, we need to get to the Council room." "You are right, let's go." Obi-wan said. -------------------------------------------------------- "Take your seat, young Skywalker." Mace said forcefully. Anakin bowed before the Council and slowly walked over to his chair. He had the seat inbetween Obi-wan and Agen Kolar. A Jedi Knight named Silri entered the room. "Status report..." She said firmly. "The Blockade is weakening. It is only a matter of time, before Muunilist belongs to the Republic." "Good to hear that is..." Yoda said. "Soon the Clone Wars will be over." Mace said. "All we have to do is capture Viceroy Nute Gunray and General Grevious." Anakin finished. "Silri, we have tasked you with finding and capturing the Viceroy. I have heard from the Chancellor, that the Republic spys have seen him on numerous occassions in the Utapau system. If General Gevious is there, do NOT engage him.... our main target is the Viceroy." Silri bowed and left the room. "The Chancellor has also discovered Grevious is on Utapau, and he has requested I go...." Anakin said. "No, I say a more experienced Jedi go." Mace said. "I second that...." Ki-Adi Mundi said. "I say Master Kenobi goes." The entire Council room agreed. "It is settled then, Obi-wan, you will take a fleet and find out if Grevious is in the System." Mace said. --------------------------------------------------------------------------- Obi-wan and Anakin were walking down the corridor. Obi-wan stopped and looked out a window. "Anakin, the Council is giving you a special assignment." "What do you mean?" Anakin asked. "We want you to watch the Chancellor, report all of his dealings." Obi-wan said. "You mean spy on him!" Anakin asked shocked. "That is against the Jedi Code." "This is war Anakin... we can't be sure..." Obi-wan said. "I don't think..." Anakin started. "The Council is asking this, not me..." Obi-wan said. "Very well..." Anakin said. The two started walking to the ship Obi-wan was to take to Utapau. They finally reached it. "You will need me on this one Master." Anakin said. "Oh, I agree, but this may wind up being a wild fancy chase." Obi-wan replied. "May the Force be with you." Anakin said. "And may the Force be with you, my old friend." OBi-wan replied. I love the idea of how you're re-writing Episode III in your own words, very creative and fun to read IMO. Though as I kept on reading, there were some parts I didn't like/thought were dumb. Such as this part: Anakin had a few extra Droid parts, and he had learned a Force Power, to which he could completely stop time. It was getting interesting when Anakin decided to spare Dooku, then stead of killing him, but when Anakin suddenly had the power to stop time, I lost all interest. If he had this power, he would be unstoppable, and invincable characters from any game/movie, are pretty stupid in my opinion. Otherwise than some certain parts, the Fic was awesome. You could have done other things without stopping time. Anakin constructing a droid hand that worked with Dooku's nervous system bugged me too. He's not a doctor, after all. Dark_Lady Posted December 30, 2006 Share Posted December 30, 2006 I'm sure he's fixed up his own droid hand many times, but that still wouldn't give him the knowledge he needed to be able to make one from scratch that worked with Dooku's nervous system. I just personally think you could have come up with something better and more believable than stopping time and building Dooku two perfectly working droid hands.
