jebbers Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 So I'm a roofer. And the other day I thought I would take some good pictures of the Niagara River and The Turbines that supply most of the east coast with power. And the building I worked almost hangs out above the river. And that's Canada across the river. North West view North East view with the Canadian Water Tubines A straight down view Peace Bridge to Canada, all backed up American Water Turbines It's very cold and windy up on the roof. I'll take more pics of the roof I'm on. There is a low cover and you have to either squat-walk or bend to the front and walk. It gets annoying after awhile. I'll show you guys on Tuesday.
IG-64 Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 That's cool, I always thought being a roofer would be hard. Nice pictures. I went to our country property today and took a few pictures of the Texas countryside. I might post a few later.
Datheus Posted December 24, 2006 Posted December 24, 2006 Cananda?! When did they sneak up on our border like that? Attack those surreptitious invaders!
Commander Obi-Wan Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 Wow, what a killer view...nice pics, jebs. I might have some nice pics like that I may post.
TiE23 Posted December 25, 2006 Posted December 25, 2006 Have any more high-rez ones? You know, you can change the upload settings in Photobucket, set it to 1mb max.

Sigundr Posted December 26, 2006 Posted December 26, 2006 Nice pics man. I always wondered what it would look like from up there.
jebbers Posted December 27, 2006 Author Posted December 27, 2006 Wow how high up are you? I'd have to say about 500 ft above the gorge.
Spider AL Posted December 27, 2006 Posted December 27, 2006 I've always loved high places. There's an indefinable feeling of tranquility that such places impart to me. You must have felt above it all Jeb, both literally and figuratively.
