Carlo El Sanchez
I know this dosn't really concern me but why must everybody here have to be so high on wanting mods for KOTOR or TSL, and then i hear glitches or problems with the game....what do you expect, mods ruin games and are stupid in my opinion especially a game like KOTOR wich dosn't need anything of the sort. Maybe if you stopped moding everything there would be less problems i keep reading about in KOTOR and TSL. Thank you - I hope i don't get negative coments to this. REDJOHNNYMIKE
Yes. Uninstall your computer. And cry pathetic tears of shame. There are lots of great people here who work really hard to make the game better for everyone, don't call them stupid. They're better than you. Many of the most respected people here are modders/moderators, if you don't like them Leave! If you have a problem with mods, delete them and reinstall the game. Did you do any research or even think before you stuck your foot in your mouth/keyboard?
Carlo El Sanchez
well la-di-da, my point being maybe if there were not so many mods the PC version of the game wont have as many problems that i so comonly hear about is all.
Kitty Kitty
Well, you will. This forum is largely for modders, so coming here and saying you hate mods is bound to get negative attention. My advice to you however is quite simple. You don't like mods, don't use them. Pretty easy. MOST mods merely make minor alterations or add new items, textures, or minor content that people enjoy. If you don't enjoy it or feel it's needed, then again.. simply don't use them. As for people complaining about game issues, take a step back. Sure, sometimes it's because someone installed mods. We all know that's bound to happen, and in such cases there's really nothing wrong with someone asking for help getting someone's mod to work properly. The game itself however has plenty of glitches and bugs without ever installing a single mod -such as say how it doesn't run well with newer generations of video drivers, or on dual core machines, or the oodles of spelling and grammar errors in the text/dialogue, or the nodes that can't be reached because someone messed up a variable or a few characters someplace, or the cases where you get stuck in an area because the game actually transported you somewhere when it was only really supposed to play a cutscene... The list goes on. In any case, if you take your own advice and do not use mods, then any problems anyone has that IS because of mods won't affect you in any way, so how does this cause you any problems or misery? Live and let live, and enjoy the games as you wish. Seems pretty simple, no? -Kitt
Taos
Why do you care if people add mods to their games? TSL was buggy for me, and I've never added a single mod to it. Games are only as perfect as their creators...and I've yet to meet a perfect human. I hope i don't get negative coments to this. You say this after saying "mods ruin games and are stupid in my opinion." Come on, this forum has a huge modding community, how do you think people are going to react? Carlo El Sanchez
That was very well put. I supose if people have these issues they should have their own sense to get rid of mods or relise its the mods that caused the problem, i knew everybody would hate me for this thread but i had the guts to make it anyway. Kitty Kitty
Well, speaking for myself, I don't hate you Carlo. I don't agree with you, but everyone's entitled to their own opinion. I just think perhaps it might behoove you to bear in mind that other people modding their game doesn't do anything to hurt you, or ruin YOUR game experience, and perhaps you might want to come off a little less "hostile" towards mods and modders -especially when posting on a forum that's populated mainly by those you're "attacking". -Kitt
Carlo El Sanchez
yes, i know it sounds like its in a defensive and hateful way, but if you could here me say it in person its just sort of a question.
