Ztalker
GHOSTBUSTERS! Apparently, a company called Zootfly( http://www.zootfly.com ) is busy working on a new Ghostbusters game. As fas as I can see, it rocks hard! Brings back memories... There are still some license problems though: We are very glad to see the overwhelming response to the Ghostbusters prototype movies. What you’ve seen is indeed in-game footage of early prototypes on the Xbox 360, running on ZootFly’s proprietary engine. Due to licensing issues, further development of the Ghostbusters game hit a bump on the road, but everybody here at ZootFly is working actively on resolving the challenges with the owners of the Ghostbusters IP. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=etGWugTbGwk Gameplay http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ku4aQOmt0o Car Chase http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G7SzmWyc37w The Ride http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxNFmUmbm98 Venkman! JediMaster12
I have seen the movies, both I and II and I liked them both. A game sounds cool. Heck I'd buy one just for old time sake.
FiEND_138
Hmmm. Looks like a TPS Ghostbusters game. Wheres the traps? Granted it's an extremely early build, but it looks like nothing more than Gears of War with proton packs.
HerbieZ
Umm looks awful. Specially the driving part. Looks like the car is on a rail.
SithRevan
Wow. They did an awesome job so far. That one clip with Venkman in it looked very realistic. I might just buy this one when it comes out. Good work finding this out Ztalker!
Hayden Kered
Not sure about it. The Ghostbuster logo on the car looks like crap, so it makes me wonder if they even have permission to design an official game for release. Unless this is to be like an Apocalyptic period. But if it is for real then it will be cool. I wonder what would happen if you crossed the streams?

Kitty Kitty
Hmm... Not quite sure about this one yet myself... I played the old game on the C-64 and it was all kinds of fun, even if it was pretty cheesy -especially by today's standards, but what I saw here looked too much like "yet another semi-FPS with a shiny new wrapper" for my tastes, though admittedly it's a very early build so who knows. I'll be keeping an eye on it, since I always thought a more modern version of the game could be a lot of fun if done well, but if it winds up essentially Half Life with a car, I'll be a sad, sad kitty... Just hoping for something with a little more substance and maybe a bit of thinking required I guess. If anyone's curious or wants to wander down nostalgia lane, here's a moby link to the old one with some screens and junk from the various platforms. Talk about memories. Hayden Kered
Thanks for the link Kitty! I use to play the NES version as a kid and seeing those screenshots did bring back memories.
