stingerhs
no, its not a hoax. you can now use a mouse to play "Resistance: Fall of Man" on the PS3. my only question: when are they going to make the attachment for the Xbox 360?? if they did that, i might just pick up a 360 for the sake of fragging people on Halo 2, eventually on Halo 3, and Gears of War. Char Ell
Word on the street is that the Xbox 360 is getting a keyboard soon <link> though no mention of a mouse. I don't own a Xbox 360 but I wonder what would happen if you plugged a USB mouse into one of its USB ports.
REDJOHNNYMIKE
I don't know about the mouse, but you can already use USB keyboards to chat or do anything that involves using the on-screen keyboard.
Negative Sun
Gee I know this other thing that has a mouse and a keyboard, it's called a computer! It rules!
MTV2
ya, but the whole point of a console is to use the controller, not turn it into a computer with a mouse and keyboard, you already have a computer!
REDJOHNNYMIKE
Ha, why not have both systems with both options? XP Because I like eating cake and having it too!!! How do you have cake though? Simple possession, or something more sinister?
Char Ell
Ha, why not have both systems with both options? XP I 100% agree with this concept. The PC already has the ability to use controllers. What is so wrong with the idea of consoles being able to support keyboards and mice? I've said it before and I'll say it again. The day consoles support basic Internet functions like web browsing, video streaming, e-mail, IM, etc. is the day I'll consider buying one before the price drops south of USD$200. I want to be able to finish playing a session of KotOR 4 and then pop onto LF to commune with my fellow KotOR fans without having to switch to my PC. BTW Microsoft announced that starting in May they'll be rolling out Windows Live Messenger to the Xbox 360 as a firmware update so they're getting closer... Negative Sun
I still say you're better off with a PC, since that's where consoles are headed anyways, at least with a PC you can customize it to your needs, and upgrade it as you go... Game devs are starting to pick up on multicore technology to work it to their advantage, so there's good times ahead for PC games (not to mention DX10, oops, just did ) I'll play KotOR 4 on my PC and then just stay in my lazy seat and come to LF to moan about this annoying character, that'll do me just fine thanks
