Recording a movie

like a movie from a game? if so i heard FRAPS is pretty good thats the only one i ever hear about anymore if not i have no clue my vote is for what tk102 said

FRAPS is certainly the most common - however the lack of a sound recording doesn't necessarily make it the best option; i'd personally look around for an alternative other than FRAPS.

That's kickin' it old skool nowadays. :dozey: Though, I still do that too. :p Even though, I have a DVD recorder, that thing is EVER so slow. >_>

What's wrong with old-school? (bringing back memories of ye old days of the mighty RUN-D.M.C. :D) It's always good to have an alternative me thinks.

yeah, for games, specifically the KOTOR duo, so I would think it WAS modding related, you know, making your own custom movie.

Hm...no sound recorder? I'm not sure that'll work...no offense...are there any others? I can't find any ANYWHERE.

FRAPS has a sound recorder. It just doesn't always seem to work. Also, it only records segments of up to 30 seconds until you pay for the full version. Bloody pain.

Well yeah, but like a said "no sound recorder" - it basically hasn't got one as the option is worthless using. Like a lot of trialware it's a gag that reels in the customer to buy the product.
