Hunter-Killer
Just a few ideas for Puppets: 1) Mandalore accompanied by Bralor (the yellow armored Mandie from the battle circle). Maybe even give Bralor Mandalorian rippler? 2) G0-T0 gets an HK-50? (with an assassin rifle?) 3) HK-47 gets an HK-51? (with an assassin rifle?) 4) T3-M4 gets......................................... T1-N1? (With a blaster pistol?) 5) Visas gets............ absolutely nothing I can think of. 6) Handmaiden gets........ another Handmaiden (with a Handmaiden staff?) 7) Hanharr gets........ a trandoshan slaver? (with a stun baton?) 8) Mical gets a medical droid? I cannot think of puppets for anyone else. Sorry
Mindtwistah
Sounds like a great idea! And it shouldn't be to hard to make it either. Visas can get three floating lightsaber. Atton could get a hutt. The PC could get a jedi that you find on Peragus.
Hunter-Killer
Yeah. I like the three lightsaber idea for Visas. And the Hutt idea is great! I mean, Hutts are invincible to all light blasts. But for the PC, I remember reading on page 31 (I think) that the PC can't have a puppet. The others are good though.
tnu
the problem with the Hutt is that Hutt's donl't have any walk animations. prehaps an old Sith Comrad would work
Hunter-Killer
Darn................ How about one that doesn't move? Maybe he sits around in the Hawk? He would make a shield against Visas and the Slavers.
GarfieldJL
How can a Hutt fit on the Ebon Hawk?
Hunter-Killer
......................... The main hold? I bet he/she could fit if he/she was smaller than most Hutts.
Mindtwistah
The hutt might not have any animation to move, but it still *can* move. It just looks like it's sitting while it's moving.
Hunter-Killer
Really? I thought it looked like it was moving. So the only thing different is the pained look on their faces as they move?
Mindtwistah
Yupp.
Hunter-Killer
Well, I don't know ANYTHING about modding, so can someone pleeeeeeease do it for me?
stoffe
The biggest problem with this idea is that the puppet table only have three slots available, and Bao-Dur's Remote already uses one of them. So you could at most give two other party members a puppet before running out of space. Might be possible to do a scripted workaround of the problem where you switch out characters in the puppet table whenever you change party members, though that could take a bit if work to function properly. Hunter-Killer
In that case............ when you use a mod, does it affect all slots or a specific one?
Gargoyle King
I like this idea, maybe give someone there own personal Rancor!
Hunter-Killer
I didn't think of that. That would be a good idea. It would make a good body guard (if the rancor race reached sentience yet) or watch animals (If only semi-sentient or non-sentient). But seriously, does a mod effect only a slot or all slots? RedHawke
There are only 3 puppet slots total... no matter what. The Remote uses one so that leaves two others.
Hunter-Killer
Oh. So your absolutely sure only three puppets?
SuperSaiyanZolo
I have an idea for a puppet for Visas and Mira; Visas can get her "twin" that your find as a refugee(excuse spelling) on Nar Shadaa(again excuse spelling) and Mira could have one of the Twin Suns, one trys to be forgiven and Mira influences it, if she is in your party. oldflash
One small rule for puppets: they don't have collisions set (for a good reason) so beware when you choise the size (model) for puppets. Otherwise is is verry possible to make 7 fake puppets to complet the lack of puppets slots.
Hunter-Killer
To SuperSaiyanZolo: Good ideas. I like them both. When that Twin Sun wants to be forgiven, is that after Atton vs. Twin Suns duel and before Skirmish of Nar Shaddaa or she somehow survives the Skirmish? To Oldflash: What is a 'fake puppet'? Mindtwistah
I think it is a "follow leader"-script
Hunter-Killer
Oh. That would be fine with me. (As long as they help in a fight) hehehehehehe. mwahahahahahahaha. MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. My evil laugh. Like it? I was working on it since last time.
oldflash
I hope someone to take this request and also it will be nice if that puppets will be available during miniquests, some sort of recruting.
Mindtwistah
Yeah, but the problem with fake puppets is that you need to insert a script in every modules OnEnter. In that case, you probably can't have any other mods.
oldflash
No, it's enought to use npc's onheartbeat script to chech if npc's puppet present (create one if is not) and destroy other puppets if exist.
