sekan
Hello! Will Carth's Quest be triggered even if the map is already found on Korriban and all quests there solved? Thanks! Yeah it will be trigged but there is a chance that you can't get into the academy. It depends on what you did in the Naga Shadow's tomb. If you helped Yuthara or Uthar you'll get the chance to enter the academy again. But if you killed both you will not have the chance to enter the academy again. Hope that helpless
Ctrl Alt Del
You mean the whole thing about Dustil? No. How can it? Uthar will be dead anyways and you'll have to slaughter the other students anyway.
Jae Onasi
Hello! Will Carth's Quest be triggered even if the map is already found on Korriban and all quests there solved? Thanks! In my first playthrough, for whatever reason I never triggered the Dustil quest--probably because I always had all Jedi in my party once I got off Dantooine and never took him off the ship after that. What happened was that I encountered Dustil in the academy, but he didn't really talk to my party. When I took out Yuthura and Uthar and went back through the academy, Dustil had turned to a hostile so I had to kill him. However, this didn't break the Carth romance. I guess since I never got the quest it didn't matter that I had to kill Dustil in that fight. I don't believe it triggers once you've gone through Korriban, since Dustil's already dead at that point. To get the quest you have to talk to Carth frequently. You can get the quest quite early (I think possibly as early as Dantooine when you train as a Jedi, and certainly by the first planet or two), but you have to have Carth in your party when you leave the ship or go through certain trigger points on any planet. If you're playing a female PC and want to do the Carth romance, you have to go to Korriban fairly quickly to resolve it. If you collect too many star maps before doing the Dustil quest, it'll break the romance. I usually keep Carth in my party and go to Kashyyyk first, get the quest, go as far as picking up Jolee (since he's my favorite), and without getting the starmap there, I travel to Korriban to resolve the Dustil quest. However, that's just me.
