Are Mira's VO lines from the Peragus Mining Facility still in the game?

Recommended Posts

I was going to look through the game files for Mira's Peragus lines, (Wasn't there a demo, where you could get her there?) but I'd rather know that they are in the game, than just going through the files looking for something that doesn't exist.

EDIT: Could somebody lock this topic? I think it's served its purpose.

From the Wookiepedia article:

Entry 50346 in the KOTOR II dialog.tlk file: You are trapped inside a series of mining shafts below the surface of Telos. You've been contacted by one of the miners, Mira, who called you on the comlink for assistance.

She was supposed to be there instead of one of the miners.

As for her VOs? I don't know...

The entry that loony posted I have never seen, but there is one, VO that wasn't used, that sounds like it was from the same quest and area.

it is located in: SWKotOR2\StreamVoice\GBL\TESTLIP

And the VO is: gbltestlip002

This is the only unused VO I've found.

Cheers MZ :) I had found this; http://uk.gamespot.com/video/920194/6097673/star-wars-knights-of-the-old-republic-ii-the-sith-lords-e3-2004-trailer Mira doesnt say anything but is present for the demo.

Odd... it says Telos. Also, I found a few other things:

You have reached Mira and the exit of the mining tunnels. You promptly attacked her as soon as you found her.

You have reached Mira and the exit of the mining tunnels. You rescued her, and she was grateful.

I found one of Atton's, he's talking about Mira.

It's in SWKotOR2\StreamVoice\101\101atton, its 101101ATTON900.wav.

There also seems to be a conversation that sounds like it goes with the journal entries, in between 50082 and 50200 in the dialog.tlk file.

Presumably in the original plan Peragus was going to be a mining facility under Telos.

Listen to gbltestlip001 in that same folder. Is that...Bastila?

Jonathan7, that video is pretty cool, I am wondering about that dragon in the background that seems to be attacking Mira when they are fighting the darkjedi. I wonder if that model is still in the game.

would have been nice if they included a video of her talking tho

And what is with that dragon; NWN crossover?

I'm guessing that's this:

Controlling the beast - somewhere within the tomb of Freedon Nadd, a scene where the Sith is controlling a beast and onlookers wonder how it's possible.

But was that a line from KOTOR 1? Or a new one...

It's from KotOR 1, I believe she says it after the PC flirts with her.

From what I can tell, the lines are not in the game. (Though they may be in the Xbox version of the game. :headbump)

(Assuming one knew where to look, which is doubtful, since the placement seems random)

Actually, there is an order to it. They are broken down by planet:

001-004 - The Ebon Hawk
101-107 - Peragus
151-154 - Harbinger
200s - Telos
300s - Nar Shaddaa
400s - Dxun
500s - Onderon
600s - Dantooine
700s - Korriban
802-806 - M4-78
851-853 - Ravager
900-907 - Malachor V
950 - Coruscant
AVO - Alien Voice Over
GBL - Global, this is used by Party Members

 • 2 weeks later...
Near as I can tell, Obsidian shoved together a whole load of stuff to make the E3 demo - so you have mining tunnels and a Sith temple on Telos. I doubt it had anything to do with the actual plot.

Yeah, that's what I thought. Seems that the demo was put together just to show some of the cooler aspects of the game for E3, rather than something they'd actually sell.
