Thrik
Here's a reference of the current files used for Worms. It's highly recommended that you download every single one and try to keep your own soundbank folder in sync with the list below (deleting and adding as necessary so you don't accidentally use one nobody else has). Leave a reply if you want to have a new sound bank added to the list, etc. Official Patch v3.6.28.0 (June 29th, 2007) Applies the latest fixes and changes to the game. More Information Download Sound Effect Pack Replaces almost every single sound effect with a high-definition counterpart, while carefully preserving the Worms feel and the signature sound effects (eg: the Holy Hand Grenade's 'Hallelujah!' was restored from the original song in much higher quality). More Information Audio Preview Download Sound Banks (March 24th, 2008) The many voice packs we use. You should definitely get these as we made a lot of them ourselves and actively use them all the time; simply make sure each one is placed as a folder in the \Data\Speech\ folder. I've put the names of the people who made/use them next to each pack so you know which ones not to use if you're not that person. Please leave a reply if you want to claim an unused soundbank or add your own. Metallus
I claim the Domino Hurley sound pack (and I know you guys still have it, right? )
elTee
That soundpack list is from what, 2003? It's out of date anyway. I don't even remember making that awful Die Hard one! God.
Thrik
Tee, you don't?! You used it for ages! I have found a more recent stash through doing some snooping through my files, which I'll add to the list shortly.
Jake
What what? I smell quality.
evilguy12
I downloaded S&M, LeChuck, Guybrush and Manny. I like Guybrush and LeChuck but some of the Sam and Max voices are too long (sometimes they go into the other players turn and the voices overlap each other). I couldn't get Manny working. It just comes up with the normal worm voice.
elTee
It's good to get them all just so when someone else changes their sounds you get to hear them, instead of the default ones.
Thrik
If you're not hearing the pack, check it's extracted properly. The structure should be \Data\Speech\manny\whatever.wav.
