"I need to get something, I'll be back soon"

Kevak decided to get his saber just in case so he moved backwards into the ship and turned right. Graff had assumed they were nice and they wouldn't be moving for a while with two soldiers, a merc, and two jedi out there. He then heard Jaq and Jojo's voices followed by a third. The prisoners must be awake. He walked over to where Jaq and Jojo were and stared at the prisoners.

"Are you threatening me?"

"Who me?" She asked, "Well, that depends... are you going to untie us... and not, kill us?" She smirked. "If I were to threaten you, I would do it in a much more... blatant way."

"Relax Mr. Jojo I've dealt with bounty hunter slime like these clowns before. If they try to attack you'll they have to get through me first."

He looked at the human woman, she seemed to be the leader of the group because she did all of the talking. The twi'lek must have still been sleeping or just was not talking and the pilot was just sitting there.

"Besides what are you afraid of, that twi'lek over there or pehaps this poor excuse for a pilot who lets a woman do all the talking for him."

"Jaq, I think we should untie them. Maybe they are our enemies, but if they aren't they'll soon be. They have quite a rep, ya know. Trust me, we don't want them as enemies. And they will most likely break free."

"yeah, yeah! I get the picture!" Jaq muttered. He walked over to the Twi'lek and untied her hands from the wire. "I'm Jaq, by the way. This here is Jojo" he pointed to the paranoid man. "Oh, and that guy there..." he pointed at Kevak. "ehh... forgot his name! I don't know everyone on this ship..." he chuckled.

"But if something isn't done soon I will be threatening you... very strongly with my fists."

"Heh, woke up on the wrong side of the bed I take it?"

Aeran kept his eyes ahead while saying a word to the Marine.

"I wonder whats going on inside? Would normally be an interrogation but because theres jedi about they wouldnt let that happen." He finished, but speaking again.

"So..... what battles were you in during the war?" He asked, finding some way to pass the time.

"I wonder whats going on inside? Would normally be an interrogation but because theres jedi about they wouldnt let that happen."

"Yeah, the Jedi somehow don't allow interrogations... made it really hard to fight an effective war. Eventually my CO and the Jedi agreed to walk around the proverbial rock while us NCO's took care of it." Thryyn smiled at the memory, before allowing his expression to darken at the next question asked by the Sith.

"So..... what battles were you in during the war?"

"Which war?" He responded flatly.

"Besides what are you afraid of, that twi'lek over there or pehaps this poor excuse for a pilot who lets a woman do all the talking for him."

Erik grimaced, he didn't really like to talk, and Shara knew he was more of the silent type. Plus Shara had a very... strong personality, he had seen her avoid conflicts with just talking the person out of it. But she hadn't been able to do it with this group, something about the man they called Kevak seemed to make Shara uneasy. It caused her to be more mouthy than usual, and Erik didn't like it.

"Heh, woke up on the wrong side of the bed I take it?" "Ha," Erik chuckled, "I suppose so... if I had a bed to wake up from." He gave a small smirk, his eyes were dancing. He could tell the Mandalorian was trying to make them feel at ease, and it was working for the most part. He knew that Shara did not want a conflict... or at least at this point. He could tell she really did want to join the group and perhaps even hunt some Sith.

The one they called JoJo was much too paranoid, it would force him to become a hermit... or perhaps get him killed someday. Shara looked at him again, he *was* much too worried. A person always looking over his shoulder would have the problem of not looking in front of him, and that was his downfall. Someday as he was glancing about someone would jump in front of him and BAM, one less bounty in the galaxy to collect on.

Maybe if or when she knew him better she could give him some advice. She narrowed her eyes, as she watched Jaq remove Ardana's wire. What were they going to do? Should she trust them, or kill and make a run for it as soon as her wire was off? She decided finally to trust, for now anyway.

Ardana glanced thankfully at Jaq, she really had said nothing in the matter Shara and Erik usually did all of the talking, but mostly Shara. She rubbed her wrists tenderly making a pained face, the wire had cut her skin a bit... That'll leave a nasty scar... She thought unhappily.

"Besides what are you afraid of, that twi'lek over there or pehaps this poor excuse for a pilot who lets a woman do all the talking for him." Kevak said while Bail passed by.

"Ah... Kevak, you should know that the words of woman is far more cunning than the once from a man." Bail said and smiled. He noticed how Jojo seemed uncomfortable while Jaq untied the prisioners. "Jojo! Go check the engine and see if there is something wrong with it." Jojo nodded and went away as Bail walked towards the prisoners.

"My ladies... gentleman! Excuse him, there are reasons why he is a bit... paranoid, especially when it comes to bounty hunters. Oh and excuse young William, and this one... Kevak!" he said as he pointed at Kevak. "Heck, excuse most of the crew for being so... unpolite. The name's Bail, at any rate, and as I understand it you are here because you want to help us. Now, I'm just the pilot actually, but I have two questions." he looked at them for a while before he continued. "One, how did you find out about our quest? And two, and this is more importantly, who are you?"

"Ah... Kevak, you should know that the words of woman is far more cunning than the once from a man."

Suprisingly this made Kevak laugh.

"Touche Mr. Bail" it was all he could reply with.

He watched as Jaq removed the wire that was the twi'lek's wrists.

"Allow me to assist you Mr. Jaq"

Kevak moved right behind the girl. He took out his vibrosword and placed it on the wire.

and this one... Kevak!"

"I thank you for the introduction Mr. Bail," Kevak said as he brought his head closer to the girls ear, "The pleasure is all mine"

He began to cut through the wire with his vibrosword slicing it like bread. In a matter of seconds he was finished. He stood up after finishing with the girl's "cuffs". Kevak looked at the pilot, then at the girl, and then at the twi'lek.

"I can't say I've ever seen a twi'lek travel with others... espically with humans for that matter."

"Why... thank you." Shara answered with a bit of sarcasm, anything they could say now probably wouldn't make up for the treatment they had gone through... But he seemed nice enough.

"The name's Bail, at any rate, and as I understand it you are here because you want to help us. Now, I'm just the pilot actually, but I have two questions. His eyes made Shara feel uneasy, yet another staring and interrogating them.

"One, how did you find out about our quest? And two, and this is more importantly, who are you?" Shara smiled, "I'm a bounty hunter... I have ears everywhere... Plus your jedi friend was advertising in a cantina I have many... associates in." She raised her eyebrow, "I was tipped off, and I like to travel... Anyway, I am Shara Zaprin, this is my partner Ardana Kren. Erik Teff is a friend, and our pilot... he's not exactly here by choice." She gave a sideways glance toward him.

Shara watched as Kevak bent down to cut her wire, his voice came close to her ear "The pleasure is all mine". His voice made Shara shiver, she couldn't decide exactly what she did or didn't like about him... yet. She spun around to face him and glanced into his eyes for just a second, before she turned and stood up. Rubbing her arms, which had become sore.

"I can't say I've ever seen a twi'lek travel with others... espically with humans for that matter." "Shara... has done much for me." Ardana begin, selecting her words carefully as not to say too much. "I owe it to her to follow her... she is a great teacher and-" "We make a great team." Shara said, interrupting the twi'lek, giving her a gentle smile, she knew that Ardana thought Shara to be more of a mentor rather than an equal, she had to remind her every step of the way.

"Well Mr. Kevak, I can't say I've ever seen such a... diverse crew on a hunt before myself." She said, placing a hand on her hip and giving a curious half smile.

"Diverse? Pft... now thats a laugh! Most of us are either Sith, Republic or Mandalorian! You can imagine such a huge tension of trust between each other!"

Jaq eyed the Twi'lek named Ardana and noticed she didn't talk very much. He imagined she looked up to Shara quite alot, judging from her choice of words and tone of voice. "So... We'll open this door and we'll let guys out of this room. Have we all cooled down from this little inconvienience?"

"Which war? Good point... what I meant to say was... are you part of the Old Guard? As in I assume you have been around since the Mandalorian Wars? That must make you a veteran in some respects." He relaxed a little, seeing as by what was going on inside some time would be spent standing here.

"How long have you been in the Marines? During my days as one of the red's (Republic Army) we never really saw Marines, heard a lot during battles though that while our Regiment was getting slaughtered the Marines were the ones actually killing the Mandalorians... still I guess it must of felt nice to of been a non-expendable asset." He said, partly bittlerley, he remembered days in the Republic Army, before Revan, before victory, there was only death.

How long have you been in the Marines?"

"I joined up with the Marines as soon as I was able. Didn't go to College, just enlisted as soon as I could get off the rock I was born on. Joined up before the Mandalorian Wars, and I've just stayed in ever since.

"You think Marines were non-expendables?" Thryyn laughed. "We constantly did things that would've made army pukes wet they're pants! I remember during the opening stages of the war... in an hour I found myself commanding my unit. An hour! I was just a lowly Staff Sergeant at the time, and I was suddenly in command.

"During the war, we regularly rode in gunships into Hot LZ's... hell, through enemy defenses, before anybody had engaged the enemy in space." Thryyn allowed himself another bitter laugh. "We were expendable, and we did missions to prove it.

"During a later battle, on a nameless world that the Mandalorians had decided to make a stronghold, my unit ran repeating rail guns." Thryyn stopped speaking for a moment, his eyes seeing the desolation that was that day, back when... "You haven't known fear until you've dropped to the ground because instinct told you to, and in the same instant, you see a man's face blow up right behind you. Then the man behind him and the one behind him, knowing that it should've been you."

Thryyn smiled bitterly at that memory, his unit had been charging the stronghold like they were the army, and took 78% Casualties in the first half-hour.

"Of course, that's where I won my first Banner of the Republic." Thryyn said, naming one of the highest honors available within the Republic's Military. "This is before the Jedi joined, mind you, we were throwing Thermal Detonators at the time, and we ended up kill more of our own with them then we did Mandalorians. By the end of that Battle, I was the second most senior person alive within my unit. Only fifteen of us survived on our side, but no Mandalorians walked away.

"We were expendable."

"So... We'll open this door and we'll let guys out of this room. Have we all cooled down from this little inconvienience?"

Shara gave him a small frown, "Well that depends... are you going to tie us up again?" She looked back at Ardana who was eyeing Jaq, Bail, and Kavek warily. Erik looked pretty unhappy, Shara prayed that he would say nothing that would get them into any more trouble.

"Cooled down?" Erik asked sarcastically, his voice raising, "You're the ones who poisioned us and tied us with wire... and you!" He gestured to Kavek, "You're the one who got Shara all mad in the first place!" "Erik, please be calm." Shara said, giving him a cautionary glance.

Erik knew that he was overreacting, they had every right to be suspicious of them... Shara and Ardana were bouty hunters with a rep, not everyone knew about them but those who did. He let out a deep sigh, and fell silent.

Shara then looked back at Jaq, "We would like to speak to that jedi again... No weapons, just a peaceful chat." She nodded placatingly.

"Yes Mr. Erik calm down. Didn't your mother ever tell you don't start what you can't finish. I didn't mean to anger your girlfriend here, I mean she must be your girlfriend. No idiot would openly attack and armed person espically one incased in an exosuit. You're not worth my time Mr. Erik. Now Miss Shara I'll go get Mr. Graff and tell him you would like to speak with him... unless that will get you too mad," Kevak answered now laughing.

Jaq couldn't help but laugh at Kevak's cunning remark. "Ha! Good one, sith-man!"

Jaq eyed the door and opened it and insisted the three get out. "Alright, lets grab our captain. Hopefully he wont be as mean as before with those blades of his!"

"She's not my girlfriend." Erik mumbled, embarrased by his outburst. "Next time, don't blow up at the captors that are *releasing* you." Shara hissed in annoyance. "Now, I'm going to talk to their captain... Let me do all the talking," She said turning to face Ardana and Erik. "You know that I can handle situations like this... we'll negotiate, and see where we turn up." Shara said, shrugging and praying that that they, especially Erik would honour her request.

"Any idea what's out there, Aeran?" Thryyn said after a long, uncomfortable pause. "I know Graff said it was friendly, but, for some reason, I can't help but doubt his sight..."

He sighed. "When did simple soldiering get so complicated?" He asked the other soldier.

Aeran looked at the Marine with slight sympathy after listening to his story, he knew that the Marine, Aeran, and every other soldier, at the end of the day, was just a expendable statistic.

"No idea, according to that Jedi its friendly, but I wouldnt put money on that, if these ****tards try anything we'll show them a thing or two..."

He kneeled down slightly, feeling tempted to simply walk over there and see who was watching.

'.... get so complicated?'

"Well." Aeran answered, "I guess it gets complicated when it turns from a good stand-up battle, into a mystery mission into the unknown against a more powerful, numerous, and more mobile enemy. Did you know how many Allied (Republic and Sith) forces were wiped out in the last battle? Every single ship was destroyed, Capital, Starfighter or gunship, the true sith lost about 1 goddamn ship.

How does that work? Do they have better training? tactics? or maybe some sort of technology... still I feel we're out of our depth with Jedi, Sith and other force users on the mission...." He finished speaking, regretting but at the same time glad he was standing there.

"Alright, lets grab our captain. Hopefully he wont be as mean as before with those blades of his!"

Kevak laughed at Jaq's remark. For some added fun he began playing with his suit. His mask allowed him to sound as any being he wanted. They gave this to him due to his horrible force wielding ability. He quickly toyed with it matching Erik's voice and responded to Jaq.

"Stop, you stop it right now! Shara is a good person and you're going to get her mad, you leave her alone right now!"

He switched back to the default setting which he used as his normal voice. He was nearly dying of laughter now. He stood up and and left to go get Graff. He exited the ship and approached Graff.

"Mr. Graff the bounty hunters have woken up and wish to have a word with you in private. I feel Mr. Jaq and I should be there in case they try anything funny, or at least one of us. Either way they want to talk to you."

Aeran spun round and looked to Kevak after he finished saying his piece.

"Hey Kevak... could you do us a favour and help us decide whats out there? According to the Jedi the people watching us are friendly.... but how many times during the war did Republic and Sith soldiers dress as their opposites for covert ops?"

He then nodded towards the same bushes that he had been staring at for the past hour.

"Did we miss something while we were interogating?" Jaq wondered, as he exited the ship. He looked to where Aeran was staring at the bush. Then around the regions of the large canyon. He squinted, observing every piece of the environment around him.

"Meh, I don't see anything... Try using some Electro-binoculars!"

Zarena paced down the boarding ramp, surveying the land around their parking spot with drifting eyes.

"Have I missed anything?" she asked drearily.

Evelyn turned her head to throw a glance at the Zeltron. "Nothing so far. Let us hope it stays that way until our allies are done with their... interrogation." At the last word she turned her head away from the Zeltron and returned to keeping watch.

"Hm." Zarena folded her arms. It's dull as Dantooine out here. But I suppose boredom is preferable to death.

Kevak cloaked himself with the force and walked down the ramp. He began walking towards the bush and then stepped to the right going around it. He picked up his vibrosword which was cloaked as well and prepared to jump who ever or what ever was in there.

((alright we got a choice here, do we want these people to be attackers, or not a threat at all))

Thryyn saw Kevak cloak himself and, just barely, stopped an appreciative whistle. That type of ability was much more helpful than he first thought!

He then looked up at the ridge of the canyon and squinted his eyes... something didn't look right up there!

"Aeran," he said, barely moving his lips. "Do you have a pair of non-reflective binos I could borrow quickly?"

((Flip a coin or something, if they're good that's okay with me, if they're bad... well, it makes it interesting...))

"Yeah" Aeran responded, quickly throwing a pair towards him.

He then saw Kevak move in slowly for the kill.. or whatever it was, he felt more confident in the Sith seeing Kevak's actions.. it demonstrated perfectly how a jedi would leave something be... but it took a sith to go out there and find what was there, he smirked to himself, not for the power of the sith, but the power of both combined.

He slowly raised his rifle aiming at another bush, just incase there was more than one, which the Jedi hinted at.

(I fancy some action, but im not fussed ;))

Thryyn caught the binos and looked up at the canyon ridge. He could make out what appeared to be a city, but, from his angle, it could just as well be a military base.

"Aeran," he said. "I think you might want to check this out... looks like either a city or a military installation to me. And, considering you have more experience with these True nutters... I think you'd best check it out." He extended the binos back to the Sith Soldier.
