It's shinier in-game. This will be part of the Elite Officers' Training Compound on Korriban that one has to conquer to get to the Taris Ruins.

I also plan to do the same thing with the TSL valley. I'll substitute TSL modules for the tombs that I am going to "re-open". Nothing will be ported from K1. Sion will be moved to the Elite Officer's area.

Looking good. The textures and the new layout are great. I was going to make a suggestion about filling the cave "open slot" in the east valley with a reworked Dantooine crystal cave. To explain why it hasn't been raided by students, it could be used as a store, teaching facility, etc. Anyway, just a thought. Good luck.

I just had a second thought. Where would be the way into the main entrance place be?

 

The entrance to the academy will be the same as before. I just changed the exit location.

 

 

Looking very good, E-varmit! I only have one suggestion, and that's to change the blast marks on the floor, as they're slightly out of place. Other than that, it's perfect!

 

I am still fooling with the blast marks. %&**(@*@# alpha channels.......

 

I think I am going to use the defunct Planet Shola modules in the open slots. I'll change the textures, call it the Korriban Badlands, and redo the dialogs. I always liked the backwards cave with the wave of creatures that "force move" to the player. I thought all this up at the dentist this morning. Dentists are sith-like in nature, and are good inspiration for Korriban module design.

Is this mod or your Taris ruins mod still happening because this looks really awesome.

 

It's still in the works, but I'm taking my time to get it right. At the moment, I am still working on the expanded Korriban areas.

 

The good news is: The G-Wing that triggers the Taris modules works, and I have been able to incorporate the Taris Swoop Track tunnel. Mobility within the tunnel is still limited, but it looks really cool to be inside it.

 

The bad news: When I recreate the Academy as a separate, retextured module, it crashes on-exit. So, both academies get retextured, or neither of them do. Maybe I'll just retexture parts of them. I don't know yet.
