jonathan7
Brown's a hell of a lot better than any Tory candidate ever could be... Hehe, something tells me there is definite bias on your part As a Lib Dem supporter, much as it pains me to say, Cameron would make a better PM that Gordon Brown. mur'phon
Since the two (sorry J7) big parties seem to be fighting to see who can rule the middle ground, so aside from making speeches a bit more fun, I don't see how David would be much diferent from Brown. Anyho, It seems to be that way in most industrial countries, higher standard of living have meant nada for happines.

Anyho' date=' It seems to be that way in most industrial countries, higher standard of living have meant nada for happines.[/quote'] From the Movie Click; Morty: "Remember the leprechaun?" Michael: "Huh?" Morty: "The one from the cereal ad." Michael: "'They're magically delicious.' That guy?" Morty: "Yeah. He's always chasing the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. But when he gets there at the end of the day... it's just corn flakes." Micheal: Huh? Morty: You don't understand the analogy?
Pavlos
Brown is not 'dumber'... to say so is to ignore the intellect of the clunking fist. The fact that he has a brain the size of a planet doesn't make him a good PM, though. Anyway, you really shouldn't be voting on the character of the party leader. The country would run just fine without the First Lord of the Treasury; the position is not that of a president, despite what both Thatcher and Blair tried to make it. Given that I vote Lib Dem, and did so while we had Menzies Campbell I hope is evidence enough that I do not buy into the cult of celebrity. Nor would I want either Brown or Cameron to be PM; but they are really the only choices currently available. On principle I also refuse to accept that Brown is a member of the true intelligentsia, given all his moves to remove various freedom's and that his party has played a significant role in ruining the educational system. Stream
I hate all politicians, they're all bloody useless. In my opinion the Conservative's completely screwed up the country and Labour have made an even bigger mess of it so give the Lib Dem's a shot, there's no way in hell they could do any worse... I hope. Also I have to agree with Tom Harris most of us Brits are bloody miserable, well I know I am anyway. --Stream
