Update: I changed the intro movie to non-sex because I was having problems with the script.

This gets me futher along. I will now have a demo version out sooner. Hopefully before September.

The first demo will be without voices or limited voices. and minor bugs probably. I have coruscant about 93% done and 1st planet dantooine about 15% done.

 

Things left to do:

 

Coruscant:

1. Modify the council's dialog & make them sit in the chairs

2. Edit the Merchant in the hallway with some crystals parts etc.

3. Make jedi's move around in the hallway like get a script that makes them walk to doors and exit and another will enter through a door and exit out another for realism

4. Waypoint problems waypoints dont want to work when i enter a door it takes me to the room start point instead of the wp.

5. edit the intro/begining beaf up the trials ( may not be in demo version)

Dantooine (other side of planet at the Mandrell estate)

 

1. Add a group of dark jedi close to the entrance to the estate

2. add 2 dark jedi's at every map exit

3. Place rubble blockage at the bridge.

4. behind the building need to find some very large blockage/rubble (anyone know what?)

to limit area.

5. Add trigger on exit of ebon hawk that starts the dock robot dialog

6. Add the Mandrells inside the building + dialog and trigger for dialog

7. add trigger after talking to dock robot that triggers the comlink

8. add trigger after saving the mandrells and their dialog that triggers comlink

9. add dark jedi script before they attack you. That will trigger upon aproch ( just the ones at the house not the ones at the map exits) a dialog that your listing to them before they notice you then after they talk one of them notices you then attacks you.

10. on the after saving the mandrells and using comlink add dialog where the council sends you to your next mission at this point it will inform you that this is the end of the demo version.

 

Like i said above may or maynot be voiceovers in the demo version.

The Demo version will include:

1. Coruscant

2. Dantooine

3. Custom Intro movie

4. Custom Lauch background

5. All traces of The Sith Lords removed including the default load screen will be replaced.

 

I hope this helps yall, and gets you want this more and more :) Once the demo releases the full version will be released about 2-3 months after the demo depending mainly on how soon I can get voice actors. I have a couple people wanting to do it, but not sure if they fit the characters yet. I hope more will want to do it. The sooner I get all the spots filled the sooner it releases.

Hmm.... Just some things about the Comlink system.

 

Are you issued a new comlink for every "Mission"? If not, than you might want to play around with the conditional scripts for it to make it that there's more options when talking to the people instead of just having that single option....

 

I could be totally off-base with this considering that this is only a demo... but it bears saying.

No Its the same comlink with scripts to determine when what part is avaible and triggers through the game will use the comlink to trigger certin things in the comlin. and yes, I know about conditionals, infact I already have some.

 

Make sure you get someone to spellcheck that dialogue....

LOL it was a rush job to have a placeholder its not the final product. P.s. looking over it real quick i only see 1 misspelling.

About five years before the mandalorian wars,

the jedi temple on coruscant was filled with

promising students. During this time the

jedi knights often visited other worlds to

settle disputes and keep the peace.

 

At the Jedi temple, the jedi council started

reciving distress calls from all over the

galaxy. The best of the jedi were sent to

investigate.

 

Meanwhile, Master grayson is prepairing his

aprentice for knight hood. Will the aprentice

suceed or fail....

World/other:

1. Fix Galaxy map to show new planet Coruscant, remove Peragus & telos

On Onderon will lock the docking port and setup a dialog that says:

1. Goto the ebon hawk ( takes you inside the ebon hawk)

2. Step Away

Instead of showing the gwing. Or Possibly remove everyone from the first area

and find a model of ebon hawk and place it inside the first area.

not sure wich.

If you want to get the fonts correct for your trailer, use the following:

 

For the title: "The Jedi Academy", use the font named "Univers Light Ultra Condensed"

 

For the body of text, you'll want to use "ITC Franklin Gothic Demi Bold." According to an article I've read, they used 69 point with -30 tracking in the prequels for the crawls.

 

Going on to your proposed crawl text, I suggest the following spelling and grammatical changes.
