Paragon_Leon Posted August 3, 2001 Posted August 3, 2001 If you give me 45 bucks, i'll answer any question you have and it would be cheaper... :D seriously though, i'm starting that thread about the AOK-engine..
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 3, 2001 Posted August 3, 2001 No, i want to play the game too. Plus, i've got nothin to do right now.
Paragon_Leon Posted August 3, 2001 Posted August 3, 2001 it shows... i'm sorry, i couldn't resist that.. you know, the only thing that would bug me would be if there were Wampa's in a forest or something like that.. AOK had wolves in the desert, so they didn't take those things as seriously. i wonder if Lucasarts will do the same.

When a building is damaged, it will burn, then when destroyed in it just becomes a whole bunce of rubble, and yes you can still build over it.

Guest Tie Guy Posted August 4, 2001 Posted August 4, 2001 That's nice to here. I like that kinda realism, otherwise it's just annoying.

That was an Imperial Unit and you cann't change that. Wampa's are indegenous life so the WOULD be on Hoth...Editor though...Wampas on Tatoine like the Shadows game for N64...
Guest xwing guy Posted August 13, 2001 Posted August 13, 2001 Actually wampas can live on several different kinds of planets b/c you can have a swamp wampa a ice wampa but a desert wampa I don't think so also I heard there will be rancors too that'll be cool.
darthfergie Posted August 13, 2001 Posted August 13, 2001 Yes rancors will be there too. Gaber said something about that in the chat or at theforce.net ...
Guest xwing guy Posted August 13, 2001 Posted August 13, 2001 I wonder if rancors will be hard to kill or anything or real good against infantry.
Darth_Rommel Posted August 13, 2001 Posted August 13, 2001 They would probably be able to kill villagers... even wolves can do that
Mitth'raw'nuruodo Posted August 13, 2001 Posted August 13, 2001 When the game comes out, someone should make a map in which your village starts out with a bunch of rancors in it. You'd be trying to run your villagers away and build a barracks (to kill the rancors) at the same time!

Eh? Where did you hear about all the wampas?
Paragon_Leon Posted August 13, 2001 Posted August 13, 2001 hehehe...VERY nice.. and you'd see some familiar faces get eaten along the way.. it could take place in a dungeon too then.. Rancors are confirmed, but i'm a little unsure as to how they'd look. After all, a rancor is almost as big as a scout walker ! If you look at those walkers in the screenshots, it's hard to imagine a rancor as 'indeginous life'..
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 13, 2001 Posted August 13, 2001 Why not? Rancors may be huge, but that doesn't mean they can't be in the game. They're just like any other indeginous life....only a lot bigger, and stronger.
Guest xwing guy Posted August 13, 2001 Posted August 13, 2001 Also opee sea killers are gonna be in the game to.
Darth_Rommel Posted August 13, 2001 Posted August 13, 2001 hmm... maybe they will eliminate the threat of gungan subs
Guest Tie Guy Posted August 13, 2001 Posted August 13, 2001 I doubt it, if they did why would you build subs just ot get destroyed? They might attack ships and things though, but they would probably be weak verse the military ships.
