DarthParametric
Yeah it's a tri-ring to hang it off your belt. It's a throwback to the Original Trilogy sabers that used tri-rings and d-rings. The Prequel Trilogy used the Covertec knobs.
TriggerGod
Well, considering I actually now have stuff to report, I might as well report. Darth Parametric has, in fact, modeled all the sabers on my list. After I map and do everything else, I'll make a release of that mod. Maybe by then, Filefront will be working for me (I get a page load error whenever I try and go to any website owned by filefront. Forums, mod sites, even images give me a Page Load Error screen). As soon as he replies to me with Hi-Def pictures of his models and my maps, I'll post them here. Anyways, While working on stuff, my internet goes down. So, I decided to do something that I haven't done in a while; make a Twi'lek mod. It started off as my own version of a Mission Vao in TSL mod, and I guess, in a way, it still is. With credits going to Primeski for use of his Darth Talon tattoos in my mod, I am almost set for a release. But, until I can get filefront up and working again, I think I'm going to expand. I think I'll make an alt final DS skin a Darth Talon style (The Dark Side corrupted her to become a Lethan Twilek! ), and, after re-finding my love for twi'leks, I decided to do a twi'lek skin I have yet to see; a purple twilek (No, I'm not just going to up the saturation on the Blue Twilek Assassin, I'm going to make it from the blue twilek head that has green parts on it. twilek_f06, with final transition being a purple tattooed and sith eyed twilek_f05) To keep you monkeys off my back, I will post some pictures of stuff. To tease you guys with my Zeltron mainly. 2 LS Handmaiden clothing variants for my Zeltron (will include other races as well. As soon as I figure that part out ) See above. Just replace LS with DS. The skin and model is courtesy of Oldflash (yes, I got his permission). All I did was change the ring to a more gold color, make the crystal bluer, alter the color of the originally gray parts to Blue for LS, Red for DS, and used my tools to cut out peices of the original Dark Side Handmaiden skin. (If you are wondering about the size difference in the 2 versions of DS, don't worry about that. I had to reset my GMax because of some error, and I didn't get the exact same view.) I'll edit this post with a picture of my twilek in action. EDIT: Ask, and ye shall receive (well, no one asked...). I have 2 things to report. You will get a taste of my Blue Twilek Mod in the below link Link And, Darth Parametric got me those hi-def renders of my sabers, along with 360º gifs, giving you a better view of them (I bet he made those gifs out of boredom ) Link Link Link Link Link Link Link Link Link Link GIF Link GIF Link GIF Link GIF Link GIF Link GIF Link GIF Link GIF Link GIF Link GIF Link

Ferc Kast
I definitely like the hilts (not to mention the stands in the renders.) You two should keep up the good work. The clothes & heads look nice too.
redrob41
Those are some nice clothes for your Zeltron. The shades of blue are really nice. Her skin tone is a pleasing shade as well. I think that the DS tattoos look a little too much like cat whiskers though, IMO. For my own Zeltron (Atinah Vanis in the Revenge of Revan mod), I decided to make her skin tone change from pink to a dark red, rather than use tattoos, but it is tricky (3 head transitions vs 2 body changes). But, with your DS clothes being mostly red, it might not look good to also have dark red skin. Oh well, just food for thought, keep up your good work . McTitan
hey triggergod! I like your blue twilek mod but I have 1 thing to say: on her second dark side transition she looks like she has a beard will you change that or will you keep it that way. also like your zeltron. lots. Marius Fett
Ok, Trigger is using some of my graphics work as a texture for a Force Power, so here's a glimpse.. Kinda looks like lightning and water, huh?
DarthParametric
Looks like the PC stumbled onto the set of the Abyss. Wouldn't be some sort of freeze-type power would it? Seems to be a bit icy looking to me.

TriggerGod
^Trigger can fill you in on the details. Yeah, it started out with my going through my friend's albums. I saw some of Marius' work, and, well, the rest is history. What I was going for is a better lightning with a particle effect. I'm trying to get rid of that blue outline. Right now, I think my best bet is to use Magic Wand in Photoshop to select the lightning, some of the gas effect in the texture, and use Similar. But Marius had an idea. He would make a water/ice/whatever attack (He changed his mind) I'll worked on making the lightning.
TriggerGod
....and in the mean time, I finished another (smaller) set of maps, and I have new renders (no gifs this time, folks (unless he wants to make some....)) of the sabers I finished. Antithesis Castling (Single) Castling (Double) Cyprix Gryphon Manticore Marauder mk2 Orchid About Orchid: To save on polys, DP didn't make the rings, so its now just a thing of red. You do know that beam effects are hard-coded? And that as such, to make that power, you're going to have to overwrite the effect for Force Storm? I can live with it.There are a couple of hilts that probably need some UV tweaking, especially the ones with some odd triangulation around the emitters. Now that you have done most of the hard work in doing the base mapping, it would be easy enough for me to do the fixes.
TriggerGod
You can create the rings in the texture easy enough. I'll send you a file with the setup. Oh, thanks. Admittedly, I'm not the best UV Mapper, and not the best texture-er. There are a couple of hilts that probably need some UV tweaking, especially the ones with some odd triangulation around the emitters. TriggerGod
Well, I haven't been UV Mapping lately But, I have tried to model a blaster, based on one recently released in the form of concept art. Its not a perfect match, but its pretty close (imo) (Note: That part under the rounded part is presumably something to soften recoil or something like that.) The reason the part near the muzzle looks more smooth then the rest of the blaster is because I used a Cylinder instead of a NGon. I have yet to UV Map. But I bet that it won't look anything like the concept art
redrob41
That's an interestingly shaped blaster. It almost looks like it could be a handheld welding torch. Very industrial and rough.
Darth Payne
A Pulse Plasma Pistol perhaps?
TriggerGod
perhaps. But I already decided on what it is; It was the blaster of a (non-canon) Sith Captain named Firmus Neraw, whose scope and targeting system is so damaged, he would rather just use it free-hand. TriggerGod
Wow, I do a lot of double posting here in this thread! Anyways, I've scrapped my brunette skin in favor of a twi'lek skin (for the guard you have to prove to before you meet with the Master Katrina on Mustafar) that I recently made. I took some eyes I had for another mod (not released yet, of course ) and put them on one eye. On the other eye, it was made into a nice green shade, that isn't too drastic or bright. BEHOLD Yes, it has 2 eyes with different colors. It is not a cheap photoshop trick magazines do, its the real deal. AFAIK, its the first skin to be made that involves Heterochromia (the eye thing) I am so going to play with this eye thing on existing skins... This skin, along with all the other skins, as an added bonus, will be made into heads you can use for yourself. It will of course use the backup head feature, so I will be making a... back up head for if you choose this head skin for your head in the beginning. DarthParametric
Hrmm....don't all the skins use a single eye tex for both eyes?
TriggerGod
Hrmm....don't all the skins use a single eye tex for both eyes? hehe, thats the beauty of it, DP. I took all of the maps's for the head, plastered them onto my texture, and found a spot which no UV touched on the skin. So, with my (not so) handy dandy Photoshop tools, I erased that section (replacing it with the nearby area that isn't touched by the Map), cut out the eye used lower in the texture, and skinned it. Then, I took one of the eye UV maps, and moved it up to the new eye area. For those with the attention span of a fly: found a spot not used by the head, got rid of it, put a new eye there, and moved some UV's to the new position. EDIT: I've hit a snag with Taina's Replacer. I followed her steps, and because I changed the UV map for the eye, I select them, and I replace successfully. When I check the model out in GMax (I always do so after I export and replace), I find out the new map did not save. So, I try the replacer again, this time, I select both eyes in both fields. Once again, successful replace, but it has the same effect in [g]max. I'm thinking of doing a n00b thing, and selecting everything in both fields to make sure that I did it right. I doubt even that will help me.
