sera1111 Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 I'm not exactly sure where to put this so I figured I might as well ask here. Is it possible to voice the player character? If it is, are there any tutorials on how to undertake sucha venture?

The way Bioware made K1 (and Obsidian with TSL) wasn't like Mass Effect, where your PC talked after you chose an option.
DeadYorick Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 Wow I almost laughed when he asked if it was possible to voice Revan Why would you want to? Revan is the player's avatar. Meaning he/she sounds exactly like how you imagine him/her. Just voicing the player character detracts from the overall re playability that Kotor has. Just imagine if Revan sounds like Jaden Korr did in Jedi Academy and he/she is threatening Malak on the Star Forge. It is MUCH better to have his voice and mannerisms all imagined by the player
adamqd Posted January 6, 2009 Posted January 6, 2009 I think that's what he means, as in a mod, if you voiced Revan, with you being him/her and all... ticks all your box's
sera1111 Posted January 6, 2009 Author Posted January 6, 2009 It was just an idea, I didn't mean to offend anyone.

Also I don't think it would take anymore from the play/story of the game than Jedi Academy did with Korr.
