Guild Wars was special cause it didn't have a monthly subscription, which I liked. The game is a little old now, but I did enjoy that one.

Same here. It was more like glorified small-scale multiplayer, but hey, it worked. I really liked the travel aspect of it, and the environments were great. The only thing about Guild Wars was that, since I didn't like the pvp, once all the quests and the main adventure were over, it was over. But that's ok, because since there was no monthly fee, it was more than worth the money. I look forward to the next one.

I have multiple friends that have put several thousand hours each into Guild Wars. Their level of commitment is ridiculous. While I will say that I enjoyed it, I can't get into any video game like that, even an MMO. I don't have anything against them, and for some people they're fine, but not me.
