Kristy Kistic Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 This past november I was bored and decided to try something new - the mmo. I had never played an mmo before and I was looking to give it a try, so I searched for free mmo's and I landed on Rappelz. I have to say that this game does lack seriously in any type of real interaction other than with other players - it's mostly based on exhaustively killing monsters and trying to gain levels and new skills. That and trying to develop your buying and selling skills since weapons, pets, and armor in this game are ridiculously high when purchased from other players. That said, I've still found this game to be horribly addictive. Show spoiler (hidden content - requires Javascript to show)
Ctrl Alt Del Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I read Rapelay, when I clicked. Funny. But no, never played/heard of this before.
Sabretooth Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I agree with Ctrl Alt Del on the second point and also agree on his taste of video games. @CAD: Did you to get to where she throws you on the railroad tracks?
jawathehutt Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 heard of it, didnt even consider it because I enjoy having a social life and MMOs = no social life for me
Alkonium Posted March 4, 2009 Posted March 4, 2009 I've played it. I really enjoy the visual part of the style, it's like a semi-abstract take on the traditional medieval look. I don't remember which server I played on, but I do remember I focused on my male Deva and my female Asura.
