How dare you speak of the death of the Supreme Leader? This is what you get for listening to the propaganda-filled news of the West and Japan. The Supreme Leader is immortal and will only depart for greater governance when he passes.

Well...that definately explains his apparent frailty at the times he was seen publically. We probably won't have to worry about his dictatorship soon, maybe that could be for the better, that is, if the right person takes power. When he dies, we're either looking at an opportunity for NK to become less isolated and more friendly...or just the opposite, and much worse. We'll have to wait and see.

^^ and I doubt he is that ill' date=' but with his age he's likely to pass on soon enough anyway.[/quote']

You may very well be right about that. With pancreatic cancer either the treatment is successful or you're dead in a few months.

Reading the article (and others), the pancreatic cancer seems unlikely primarly because in the article you'll find that the only source is "unamed inteligence guys" and given how many times the media has predicted the iminent death of dictators (Castro in particular) with similar sources...

^^True on that, but even if the source is questionable, Kim Jong Il doesn't look extremely healthy, I've seen work camp survivors look better...he's obviously got something, and even if he does or doesn't have pancreatic cancer, he's on the way out, as you said earlier.
