Litofsky Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 The Dark Oligarchy? At this point, avoiding the name 'Empire' would be a sign that this is something original, and not a partial rip-off of the OT.
RogueJedi86 Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 What about the Rakata in KotOR1? "The Infinite EMPIRE"? The KotOR era has never been entirely original. I think the Sith were called the Sith Empire even in KotOR 1.
Litofsky Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 Just because I didn't mention it doesn't mean I support it. Original names are hard to come by, and all the better when they do appear.

Besides, it at least seems to me, that the Mandalorians were Manipulated into the Mandalorian War by the Sith - Canderous says as much in K1. Don't get me wrong I am no Mando-fan-boy, I just envisioned Mandalore, whether manipulated, Honorable or Bloodthirsty, to be a true Warrior none the less, not some Sith placeholder.
Nedak Posted September 6, 2009 Posted September 6, 2009 I really hope there aren't any other force sensitive classes.

But yeah, they basically just ruined the image they built up of Mandalore the Gladiator. He went from badass to fraud in one update.
DAWUSS Posted September 8, 2009 Posted September 8, 2009 RogueJedi86 said: Sith aren't known for subtlety(Palpatine aside). They're more about brute force. On the name, I think that helps lure in non-KotOR fans who knew about the original movies. What other name would they go by? Sith Triumvirate? Sith States of America? Calling them just Sith would be confusing, since they have a class that goes by that name too. Union of the Sith Lords? Sith Union? Ah wait, you wanted original...
