BongoBob Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 http://kotaku.com/5471158/three-original-command--conquer-games-are-now-free The original Command & Conquer, Command & Conquer: Tiberian Sun (as well as Firestorm) and Command & Conquer: Red Alert. And I was just thinking of punking my friend for his Red Alert disks too
Kusanavi Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Yes! Lately I've been in a nostalgic C&C mood so this is exactly what I needed! I kinda feel bad for the people who bought C&C: The First Decade solely for these games, though they're probably way over them since that was released about four years ago. Good on them for doing this and hopefully others learn from it (and yes, I know they aren't the first ones do this sort of thing).
leXX Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Cool, downloading now. Not really into RTS's, but it's FREE, so I'll give them a go.
Totenkopf Posted February 14, 2010 Posted February 14, 2010 Had C&C, but was for a Mac. Also Tib. Sun, but w/out Firestorm exp pack. Nice find Bob, esp as I don't have Red Alert yet (and I've got no one to punk for those discs ).
M@RS Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 I've never really liked RTS's, but I might give this a go...since it's free.
Samuel Dravis Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 C&C was a great game and it was a nice gesture for them to release it like this-- I'd certainly still pay cash for it if I hadn't already! I might give it another playthrough soon...
