basehead617
Hi there - a long time ago I remember I had a humongous collection of MI2 midi files. HighLand Productions sounded familiar, so I went here... http://highland.mixnmojo.com/mi2.shtml I know there are 2 or 3 times as many music queues as are listed here though.. does anybody know a more thorough source for them? Thanks!
s-island
Quest Studios released a few MIDIs, but LEC told them to take it down. They were available on a few other websites though, but the sites seem to be gone now. You could use Scummrev over at http://scumm.mixnmojo.com (under Utilities) to extract the MIDIs and edit them into complete tracks, though. sinus
How come you don't offer them at Soundtrack Island like you do with the SoMI files?
s-island
Because they're not mine. I recorded the SoMI MIDI files when I did the original digital audio recording of the soundtrack, so they were easy to put up. For MI2, I edited them from scratch into different tracks, and they require two MT-32s daisy chained plus the right sysex bank before you can play them back. Converting them to General MIDI would take forever and I'm never satisfied with the results..
Monkey Mania
There are some here: http://imuse.mixnmojo.com/midi.shtml
Gabez
http://www.scummbar.com/resources/downloads/midi/mi2mp.zip looks longer and more comprehensive, though it's mainly Highland with a few other sources, and the filenames are non consistant, with those annoying text files in there as well. Snugglecakes
Who was it that made the incredible MI2 MP3 soundtrack I downloaded many years ago and still listen to often? It included a medley and a special version of largo's theme. Whoever did that needs to come over and fetch his case of beer.
Laserschwert
That would be me... but I don't like beer, so I'll just take the bottle deposit. BTW: That Largo Theme was made by the guys from HighLand Productions (Andrew Langley and Jimmi Thøgersen) for Mojo's MI5 April Fool's joke, while the medley was made by some fans (credited as Matt Johnson, Tom Woodrow and PH). Snugglecakes
Laserschwert is there anything you can't do? You've decorated my walls and filled my house with music. Much appreciated!
