Darth Avlectus
Right now on Jimmy Kimmel live, Beavis and Butt-Head are on in a little surprise appearance before their return to their home channel, MTV, on Oct. 27th. Here's to another generation, to be ruined by their obscure humor, intelligently moronic antics, as the headbanging metalheads we all know and love. Here's to the previous generations who have been begging for more. Here's to having one for the road to, like help us forget, no wait.....help us remember...uhh.... What were we talking about again? Oh right... We return to... Capping on various music artists. Getting stuck in various odd places. Irking the teachers. Eating nachos. Missing the point of school. Making fun of modern society and its failures. And Boobs...I just wanna say that again, boobs. I worried this show would be forever doomed to obscurity if it ever returned, but then I realized you can't make it any more obscure: this is obscurity embodied. So rejoice, my people, for the return of Beavis and Butt-Head!

ChAiNz.2da
Yeah, but what are they going to bash? MTV doesn't do music videos. Maybe they can thrash the hell out of the stupid reality shows..
Totenkopf
Considering that MTV was one of the big sources of the more vapid reality programming we suffer today, that'd be apropos. Between Jersey Shore, Real Housewives, etc.. they'd now have a target rich environment.
Q
Yeah, but what are they going to bash? MTV doesn't do music videos. Ridiculous, isn't it? What does the "M" in "MTV" stand for, now? Moronic? Maybe they can thrash the hell out of the stupid reality shows.. That's a brilliant idea. I'm wondering about what direction Mike Judge is going to take this. Will it be exactly like it was in the 90s, or will he do something different?
Darth Avlectus
I'm looking forward to it. I havent seen very many episodes from the original show but what I did see I liked. Do check it out good man. I'm sure you can look up stuff on YT or Vimeo, etc. Look for their early classics. There are also DVDs available--Wl-mart last I checked. Target but I doubt it, plus I'm a little pissed off at them right now not honoring a rebate on a sizable purchase my sister made there. But definitely Wal Mart for sure even if it is the root of all retail evil. Yeah, but what are they going to bash? MTV doesn't do music videos. That doesn't mean there aren't crappy music artists out there, nor does it mean crappy stuff hasn't come out since they "ended" back in '98. I'm sure Mike Judge has seen a whooooooole lot of garbage to bash and kept a tab. By now I'd estimate that list has gotten as long as the mile long flea market in Tennessee. Maybe they can thrash the hell out of the stupid reality shows.. Wouldn't doubt it. I do wonder if it will be adapted to the internet age, or if it will be a flashback to the 90's all over again. Uh-huhuh-huhuhuhuhuh. Wood. Huhuhuhuhuh. Eh-heheheheh-heheh-heh. Boioioioioioioing! Meh-heheh-heh.
