Master Temporal Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 By sheer accident I noticed that if you use the cheat code "setmindtrick" to a value greater than the implied maximum of 3 you can not only influence your opponent’s behavior, but you can also literally "possess" and control their body. So for example in the battle with Alora, you can take control of her body and force her to commit suicide without taking any damage to yourself. This appears to be an undocumented feature which has never been mentioned before which is unusual for a game that is nearly 10 years old. Good luck and MTFBWY
Twilight-Kun Posted April 13, 2012 Posted April 13, 2012 setmindtrick 4 that way you don't have to reset a force power or get trapped at the add new power screen
Master Temporal Posted April 15, 2012 Author Posted April 15, 2012 or "map mapname" that way you can load any map you want.
acdcfanbill Posted April 15, 2012 Posted April 15, 2012 or "map mapname" that way you can load any map you want. not quite as satisfying, and also more continuity breaking imho.
Master Temporal Posted April 16, 2012 Author Posted April 16, 2012 Yep, I’ve never found cheat codes to be particularly any more satisfying or continuity-preserving either, and they really should not be used for regular game play, unless you’re hopelessly stuck.
irish_texan Posted April 17, 2012 Posted April 17, 2012 This appears to be an undocumented feature which has never been mentioned before which is unusual for a game that is nearly 10 years old. its definitely been documented before. when i first started looking up cheats for jedi outcast (that was back in 2004, i think) i found it on just about every site i tried. it was the same way when i bought jedi academy around 2006. this is one of the most well known cheats, other than "god" and "noclip" and "notarget".
Master Temporal Posted May 16, 2012 Author Posted May 16, 2012 Nope, it isnt. I already checked and it's not mentioned anywhere, but thanks anyway.
katanamaru Posted May 17, 2012 Posted May 17, 2012 I assure you it is well known and documented since Jedi Outcast.
irish_texan Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 its on about 9 out of 10 of the very first results when you google "jedi academy cheat codes"... i dont know where you were looking lol
