Running kotor2 in windows issue

Hey

 

I'm finding issue with major lag and my computer mentioning that the game is using all my cpu?

 

I have windows7 64 bit

Running kotor2 in - windows XP service pack 3

 

Those who run kotor2 in windows 7- What is the best compatible mode to run in?

 

EDIT: Ok i found out something odd,..it runs fine if i am running firefox web browser with around 3 site open- minimized.

Have no idea how this did nit but it did,..go figure

You really should reinstall the game according to the large-print instructions at the top of the second post in this thread.

Right now it's working but if I see any issues then I will do this :-)

I run it in SP3 and as Admin but I think you're supposed to run it in SP2. Not sure if it makes a difference.

I'm not sure it does, either, but SP2 mode has always worked for me, so why change it?
