Alia
http://store.steampowered.com/sub/6183/ For the next 16 hours, the two remasters are the price of an incredibly overpriced cup of coffee. !!
DrMcCoy
Eh, I'll keep running the originals in ScummVM. Vastly superior. <

Alia
Are you going to skip the Grim Fandango remaster, McCoy? Or rather: did you skip Grim Fandango to begin with, since it was in THREEDEE?!
DrMcCoy
At least the remastered Grim Fandango will work on GNU/Linux. Still, I prefer the original in ResidualVM, because FLOSS.
Artisa
Oh I thought the remaster was console specific, did they expand their borders? And you are aware the MI special editions do have a classic mode, right?
DrMcCoy
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Grim_Fandango#Remastered_version "released simultaneously for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux platforms" The Monkey Island Special Editions still doesn't work on GNU/Linux. I can run the classic mode in ScummVM, but then I can use the originals just as well. Also, I vastly prefer AdLib over pre-recorded music. Also also, the special edition of MI2 removed the original intro, which is a heresy.
