Artisa Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Updates people! Where has everyone disappeared to and what real life happenstances seem to be keeping you all away? I've found myself entranced by a variety of apps on my phone, resulting in a mysterious loss of hours in a blink of an eye... Maybe this should be in the time traveling thread lol.
RoyTordesLegend Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Stressful month for me, with one cat dying, bad news about our other cat, kids seriously poorly, myself poorly, the missus work being 'difficult', money tight, everything going tits up at once basically.
Artisa Posted November 15, 2014 Author Posted November 15, 2014 Ouch! Sorry to hear that, and my condolences I still haven't gotten over the loss of that one particular foolish little kitten a few years ago... Anyways, drop us a line when things get better! (You're excused! )
Skinkie Posted November 16, 2014 Posted November 16, 2014 I just bought a house for the first time. Turns out it's a complex and time consuming experience. Who would have guessed?
Artisa Posted November 17, 2014 Author Posted November 17, 2014 I... wouldn't know. But I would've guessed You're excused too Anyone else?
Zoom Rabbit Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 Been trying to make a name for myself by landing a space shuttle on the beach.
Artisa Posted November 17, 2014 Author Posted November 17, 2014 Everyone else is hiding in fear. Or apparently just hiding. Been trying to make a name for myself by landing a space shuttle on the beach. Excuse denied. Eh, I'm here, lurking, as always. Stop lurking! That's supposed to be my thing!
Zoom Rabbit Posted November 17, 2014 Posted November 17, 2014 *(Lands a space shuttle on Artisa's roof.)*
DrMcCoy Posted November 19, 2014 Posted November 19, 2014 Stop lurking! That's supposed to be my thing! You see what happens when I stop lurking for just one post? The forums are down for two days!
Artisa Posted November 20, 2014 Author Posted November 20, 2014 I'm pretty sure your "not lurking" had nothing to do with the forums going down Get off my roof, rabbit.
Skinkie Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 He planned for them to go down. It was him all along!
DrMcCoy Posted November 21, 2014 Posted November 21, 2014 In other news, I'm totally Korrasami trash now.
Zoom Rabbit Posted November 24, 2014 Posted November 24, 2014 What? You throw your origami in the trash? Well, that's peculiar. *(Hides the robot donkey.)* Looked up 'Korrasami.' Shipping? WTF?
Artisa Posted November 24, 2014 Author Posted November 24, 2014 ...How much anime do you watch again, McCoy?
DrMcCoy Posted November 25, 2014 Posted November 25, 2014 Not much. And The Last Airbender / Legend of Korra is an US production, so it's not really "anime". Also, I watched Orange is the New Black now; not anime either.
Artisa Posted November 25, 2014 Author Posted November 25, 2014 Orange is the New Black was a tv series wasn't it? In a totally unrelated note I'm severely pissed at the bloody mailing system here - why would something posted to Canada from the UK go through Chicago? If they lost my present I'm seriously considering suing someone.
Skinkie Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Also, I watched Orange is the New Black now; not anime either. My wife just finished that. Seemed interesting if pretty crazy from the little bits I caught
Zoom Rabbit Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 In a totally unrelated note I'm severely pissed at the bloody mailing system here - why would something posted to Canada from the UK go through Chicago? So US spy agents get a chance to scan, X-ray and weigh your package on American soil. You sent nice shoes. Good taste!
Huz Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 Thanks for reminding me that The Last Airbender exists and there's even a film version of it, McCoy. One of the most unintentionally funny movie trailers I've ever seen. Just thinking about it has made me laugh! "For a British audience, the film's language is inadvertently flavoured by associations and nuances that are vulgar, abusive, and very, very unfortunate indeed." http://www.theguardian.com/film/2010/aug/12/the-last-airbender
RoyTordesLegend Posted December 2, 2014 Posted December 2, 2014 nearly a week since the last post, haway folks, we can do better
Huz Posted December 3, 2014 Posted December 3, 2014 I could tell at once that you were a bender, and that you would realise your destiny.
