OnlyOneCanoli
What games are you guys playing lately? For me, it's been an unhealthy amount of Day of Defeat. When my new PC is built, I'l be playing a lot of Tribes 2 and finishing up Deus Ex.

Guest ZeroXcape
I bought Tribes 2, but aside from a few days, I don't play it much at all. If I play anything, I rather enjoy a game of CS or DoD. I don't really play much in summers, simply because I don't have access my T3 lines. I went through this two year period (just like with JK) where I didn't play anything but Half-Life, so I can always go back and pick up some older games, i.e. Soldier of Fortune ... for Linux! Guest ChrisC3po
Currently I'm playing Unreal Tournament and Age of Empires II, although I am definitely in withdrawal due to the lack of my dorm's T3.

OnlyOneCanoli
I just realized that today is the 57th anniversary of D-Day, and WWII Online is coing out today. Anybody planning on picking it up? It looks great, but I'm on 56k and that $10 fee isn't too friendly. If I see some good reviews though, I think I may be picking it up.

Ki-Adi-Mundi
Serious Sam doesn't really appeal to me. Mesa no likes it. Mesa no likes Dues Ex either. Mesa hates Dues Ex. Mesa wants to kill Dues Ex!! Mesa gonna go insane if mesa say mesa one more mesaing time! What is Day of Doom? I've been spending my time in Asheron's Call, Counter-Strike, and Quake III most recently because I've been testing out my levels I'm learning how to make for it. I also played a good game of jk today. I finished in the top out of 4 players. I had 77 and the next highest person had 53 I think. BGJ nf. It was cool. I'm going to get T2 when I get my new comp sometime this fall/winter. [ June 06, 2001: Message edited by: Ki-Adi-Mundi ]

OnlyOneCanoli
THPS2 is Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 2. Sweet game. Day of Doom? If you meant Day of Defeat, it's a mod for Half-Life. Axis vs. Allies, basically. Official DoD site

Wilhuf
Serious Sam. Plays just like the original Doom, but with up-to-date technology and graphics. Hundreds of enemies swarming around you, mass destruction. Coop play (multiplayer completion of the single player campaign) is great fun.
Ki-Adi-Mundi
Sam is serious about his mass slaughter isn't he? Day of Defeat, heh, yeah, that's what I meant. I think I'll download it later today. Anyone ever played Command and Conquer: Red Alert?
Letalis
Good ol' stratergy games Yeah, played Red Alert, also, I'm a huge Star Craft fan.
Ki-Adi-Mundi
I've never had the chance to play Star Craft. I guess I'm missing out eh? When you played Red Alert, did you beat all hte allied missions? IMO, the Axis missions were pretty easy. But the Allied were a bit harder because you had more missions where you just had infantry. Like mission #14 where you had like 7 rifle infantry soldiers, 4 engineers, and you had that silly spy you had to send down to the bottom of hte map to get Tanya (Tanya rules!). Then you had to take your engineers to place bombs on those consoles and get out of there without being smoked by the flametowers. Was that ever hard!
