Guest Kudar
The Original, Star Wars A new hope is by George Lucas, the following ESB and ROTJ are novelisations based on the films, after that there is a multitude of Expanded Universe books, from The Han Solo trilogy, Bounty Hunter Trilogy and more, I think the period covered is about 25 years after the end of ROTJ, a lot of them are in a kind of sequence, by lots of different authors. You should be able to get most at your local book store, or Amazon. I recomment the Bounty Hunter Trilogy or Han Solo books first

Young David
Altough I've read the Thrawn Trilogy and the Jedi Acadamy Trilogy in dutch, I've read the rest that I read in english. Star Destroyer sounds a lot cooler than 'Sterren vernietiger'. BTW ... 'Het Doemwapen' is Darksaber in english

Wraith 8
Well here in The Netherlands all the Star Wars Novels and Star Wars Specials in Dutch are in a big book. and i hav esome English books that are a lot smaller. one big book is the Courtship of princes leia. And at first i did not get the story. but later when i bought the x-wing series books i finnaly understood. So my books go in this order. Episode 1 (Dutch) Rogue Planet (Dutch) and then the x-wing series untill 7: Truce at Bakura (Dutch) 1. Rogue squadron (English) 2. wedge gamble (English) 3. The Krytos trap (English) 4. The bacta war (English) 5. Wraith Squadron (English) 6. Iron Fist (English) 7. Solo command (English) Courtship of princes Leia (Dutch) Now i think that Isards revenge is next from the X-wing series but not sure. Heir to the Empire (Dutch) Dark Force Rising (Dutch) The last command (Dutch) Jedi Search (English) Dark Apprentice (English) Champions of the force (Dutch) Childeren of the Jedi (Dutch) Darksaber (Dutch) x-wing book 9. star fighters of adumar. (English) The cristal Star (Dutch) Ambush at Corellia (Dutch) Attack at Selonia (Dutch) encounter at Centerpoint (Dutch) Now i must say I did not read them in the right order. BUT you should do it. Paragon_Leon
I enjoy the NJO series - to a degree. At some point it hardly seems Star Wars anymore to me. Just give me a good book outlining the Galactic Civil War.
