matt-- Posted July 27, 2001 Posted July 27, 2001 If you are banned how are you posting? To my knowledge there are no laws to being banned. Whatever zero says goes. And the system works fine that way.
Guest Boba Rhett Posted July 27, 2001 Posted July 27, 2001 Let's just say Zero can't stand it when someone starts crying.... [ July 27, 2001: Message edited by: Boba Rhett ]
acdcfanbill Posted July 28, 2001 Posted July 28, 2001 umm, wow, force long sig, just like mine was till wardz took me behind the woodshed and beat me with a belt... then i got it in gear...
wardz Posted July 28, 2001 Posted July 28, 2001 Wardz appears in a flash snapping belt! Rogue, could you please reduce the size of that sig? Then I might think about being nice to you.. That goes for JOE SOLO also.... Can't we just ban sigs full stop? wardz
CaptainRAVE Posted July 28, 2001 Posted July 28, 2001 They dont show up on my computer anyway . Dont ban sigs...at this rate, because of people who dont respect the forums everything will be banned.... The star ratings went because everyone was taking sides. They wont add more ranks because people just spam... And probably everything else will be banned. At this rate even the forums will be banned. [ July 28, 2001: Message edited by: CaptainRAVE ]
Guest Rogue15 Posted July 28, 2001 Posted July 28, 2001 it's not like i chose for the stupid sig box to be checked in the first place!
Letalis Posted July 29, 2001 Posted July 29, 2001 wardz, you make out that sigs are a terrible thing? I really enjoy some of the clever sayings and things that people have 1) thought up, or 2) found somewhere. I agree that some can go over the top, but lets not destroy it all together?
wardz Posted July 29, 2001 Posted July 29, 2001 No I dont make out sigs are bad, its just that some people go OTT and ruin it. Matt's yours was ok, Letalis yours is nice, and about 90% are okay, its just the minority who insist in having an oversized sig or huge paragraphs of text which defeats the object of having a sig. Sigs shouldn't be too intrusive on the eye. Cheers, wardz
CaptainRAVE Posted July 29, 2001 Posted July 29, 2001 Yea they should be short and to the point . Most peoples sigs are really cool, but i reckon about 5% of people just spoil them.
Letalis Posted July 29, 2001 Posted July 29, 2001 Understood, thanks for the clarification. And I'm glad you approve of mine, I don't what I'd do if you didn't!
CaptainRAVE Posted July 29, 2001 Posted July 29, 2001 I like that shade of green. Looks good. Actually the site could do a sig competition....Who has the best sig??
CaptainRAVE Posted July 29, 2001 Posted July 29, 2001 This site needs more competitions i reckon, that way it would get people making amazing sigs
acdcfanbill Posted July 29, 2001 Posted July 29, 2001 unless there got to be a huge riverly, you know between some of the people who used ancient sith teachings to make sigs...
CaptainRAVE Posted July 29, 2001 Posted July 29, 2001 I think this site should have more competitions . Might get people more involved with the site, instead of feeling left out.
MadPoster Posted July 30, 2001 Posted July 30, 2001 iS EVERYBODY HUNG UP ON SIGS? Why does it matter anyway? And bring back the rating system- I like to know who the chumps are.
CaptainRAVE Posted July 30, 2001 Posted July 30, 2001 The rating was really bad. Basically all that happened was that people who liked each other gave high ratings, and people who they didnt like low ratings. It just didnt work
Letalis Posted July 31, 2001 Posted July 31, 2001 I like that shade of green. Looks good. Actually the site could do a sig competition....Who has the best sig?? Thanks RAVE, and I reckon a competition wouldn't go astray. You're right about getting the community involved. It helps, and a little friendly rivalry wouldn't hurt either!
CaptainRAVE Posted July 31, 2001 Posted July 31, 2001 Originally posted by MadPoster: Isn't that what is supposed to happen? No because it isnt an effective rating. Someone could be posting really good content, but could get a low rating because people dont like him/her (the her bit is unlikely). Even makes you wonder if they read these boards.
