Rogue Nine
So, since it's the holiday season, what are y'all getting for your friends, family, co-workers, etc.? And what do you think you're getting in return? Giving Parents: Prolly some little photo album of them, illustrating happy times. Fave aunt & uncle: Prolly me. I go down to Virginia every wintertime to babysit while my aunt and uncle go away for a bit. Best friend: Gonna help him get an electric guitar and amp. Close friends: Various things...CDs, trinkets, that sort of stuff. Closest cousin: I dunno, I'll have to ask what he wants. Ex: A bracelet and a red rose. Girlfriend: Prolly a stuffed dragon and some other things. Receiving Parents: Full LotR trilogy, money Fave aunt & uncle: A new fencing sabre. Best friend: Prolly a CD of some sort. Girlfriend: I dunno....
Nitro
Giving Mom: I got her a $500 scanner last year, so she ordered me to be cheap... I got her a card... Nothing says it like Hallmark. Dad: Got him a new table saw last year, and he also has ordered me to be cheap... He gets a card too. Sister: I get her a CD every year... And this year is no different. This year it's Wave's CD. Amber: Not my girlfriend, but I wish she was... She's getting Full Metal Jacket. (It's a movie, for those of you who don't know.) Terra: Micheal W. Smith's Freedom CD... I loaned it to her, and she fell in love with it... (Now why can she fall in love with my CD's but not me?) Laura: A card and $20 @ Blockbuster... But she lives halfway across the continent, so the postage on anything bigger would cost me more than the gift. Receiving Terra: Gone In Sixty Seconds on DVD. Amber: Final Fantasy: The Sprit's Within Special Edition DVD, and a box of root-beer flavoured candy canes. Sister: Blockbuster gift certificate, denomination unknown. Mom & Dad: A DVD player... I was pretty sure, but I tricked mom into confirming it.
Keyan Farlander
Giving Mom - A book about saints, Mozart's Requiem Mass on CD, and Les Miserables on VHS. Sister - I'm going to buy her a CD, but she mostly likes crappy music, so I don't know enough to make a good decision here. She's currently into Flogging Molly. Any suggestions based on that (that doesn't have a ridiculous amount of foul language)? Recieving Mom - Probably a complete set of the Beethoven piano trios on CD and maybe Die Zauberflöte (by Mozart) on CD as well. I think she's also getting me a book with the scores to Beethoven's nine symphonies. Sister - Probably squat I'd love to get something for the girl I love, except she hates me for some reason, and if I try to give her anything or talk to her, she'll simply hate me more, so I think I'll pass on that! Other than that...I don't know anyone else. I know, I'm a loser But at least I don't have to buy crap for lots of people
