Wilhuf Posted December 18, 2001 Posted December 18, 2001 Obi-Wan for XBOX has gone gold. The game has been released for manufacture and will be available in stores later this week. Thanks Blue. Anyone gonna give this game a try? Let us know how it plays.
wardz Posted December 18, 2001 Posted December 18, 2001 starts singing spandau ballet, I suppose thats not bad for around a years development. No doubt some rich person I know of will get it and I will hold back from saying Thats MY game you are playing... wardz
Darth Simpson Posted December 18, 2001 Posted December 18, 2001 I'm interested to see/hear how it plays. I'm sure it's not as bad as everyone wants it to be... =) I'll have to wait untill March to actually play it though...
Agen Posted December 18, 2001 Posted December 18, 2001 Er... that picture.... is that a PG or an 18...? Well Mace he er..... seems to be..... er leured in i gues it's not his fault..
OnlyOneCanoli Posted December 18, 2001 Posted December 18, 2001 There's a good chance my parents are getting me an XBox for Christmas since I asked for nothing at all. So if I do get it, I might as well give it a rent and see how it is. I'm not holding my breath though.
Rogue15 Posted December 18, 2001 Posted December 18, 2001 oh man have u seen the trailer? it looks like a revised version of TPM!!!! I WANT IT!!!!!! I'm glad my sister wants an xbox, maybe we can go half on it.
digl Posted December 19, 2001 Posted December 19, 2001 I doubt I play OW anytime soon... Id like to see what It turned out to be, but Ill have to wait some time
Obi Kwan Posted December 19, 2001 Posted December 19, 2001 I just want to use the new sabre controll. If anyone has been keeping track, bie said this a million times, but having an analogue stick devoted to the sabre is the best way to go, even if the game blows.
StephenG Posted December 19, 2001 Posted December 19, 2001 i've got better thinhs to do than to waste my money on a Xbox
Ushgarak Posted December 19, 2001 Posted December 19, 2001 It's a shame that the rune-based syetsm for using the sabre with the mouse was lost when they made the format change. It was nice to see them at least TRY something.
digl Posted December 20, 2001 Posted December 20, 2001 actually that system was what ruined the game The stick system will probably be about 1000 times beter than glyph
Ushgarak Posted December 21, 2001 Posted December 21, 2001 I think it was a lot more than that that 'ruined' the game... In any case, I am upset it didn't work.
digl Posted December 21, 2001 Posted December 21, 2001 there were more things you are right But that system was probably what made the game "not fun to play", and that was said by LEC people And for a game I think being fun is the most important point
Outlaw Posted December 22, 2001 Posted December 22, 2001 Just read a review post at an X-Box sight from a person who purchased Obi-Wan today. He was pleasantly supprised. He stated the game was very fun with lots of depth between saber use and force powers. The many different force abilities kept the game from getting stale. In fact, he stated the game was the Devil May Cry for the X-Box!
