September 11, 2001 History seems inevitably to repeat itself. As if the Spice Girls didn't send a big enough signal to game makers not to develop games based on fleeting popularity of pop singers, THQ today has announced it's signed a four-year contract with Britney Spears, the teen idol singer, to make games exclusively on PlayStation 2, the PC, and Game Boy Advance. Come to think of it, none of them were even passable as games. They were pathetic.
