Fighters also but if there is aa its no good. mech destroyers work well. dark troopers can give them a fight.or you could use 20 jedi masters and turn his units against him... grenadier troopers work wonders on them but you have to make sure they are protected by another unit. 'cos regular droidekas aren't as much of a problem because they have no shielding (which will reduce damage well over 80% because it regenerates so fast). Guest jubjubjub Posted December 22, 2001 Share Posted December 22, 2001 they take one damage per hit, even if the shields stay full, so it would be better to use something that attacks faster rather than something that is slow with big damage (assault mechs). Repeater troopers could do it if you were desperate, but you would use a lot of them (they would have to have all range upgrades or would die walking to get within range). Air is best since they can't attack back. But it has to be micromanaged to all shoot one at a time. If they had time to crank out 40 DD, I hope you had a lot of units. Noruas Posted December 26, 2001 Share Posted December 26, 2001 IF you are Gungan: 3 hvy Fambaas, 20-25 hvy Mech Destroyers, 8 hvy Artilleries, 8 assault mech, 15 repeat troopers. - I've seen it done. around 60 hvy droidekas wiped out, gungans retained 75% of that army.
