Delphi's Clone Posted December 26, 2001 Posted December 26, 2001 I prefer Athlon CPU's they have sooooo much power hehe and are cheap and beat the heck out of P4's in preformance hehe have you guys heard of the Athlon XP hehe it's a beuty it has 1.6 GHZ but it beats the heck out of any P4 2.4 GHZ system hehe well i'd like to see you response

Very stable chip. G4 = high hopes for nothing...waste... Celeron = hand-me-downs Duron = hand-me-downs x2 Winner of the Processor Wars??? Athlon XP For now the most affordable and most stable chip out there... back it up with a GeForce3 and 256mb of RAM and you have gamer's choice PC in a nutshell...

Tie Guy Posted December 27, 2001 Posted December 27, 2001 I'm running a PII (argh!!!!) right now, but if i had a choice i'd get a high level Athlon. Even though they have a smaller hertz value, they are more powerfull than pentiums, and better for gaming.
