TieDefender75 Posted January 7, 2002 Posted January 7, 2002 ever since that new add that stands vertical was there, my computer has been so slow loading the forums. can anyone do something?
Tie Guy Posted January 7, 2002 Posted January 7, 2002 I haven't noticed a problem, though i do have cable...
darthfergie Posted January 7, 2002 Posted January 7, 2002 only speed prob I've noticed is after you post messages those ads afterwards get anoying because it has to load those up before it switches you over to the forums... So I've started pressing that button so you don't have to wait...still it isn't much of a slowdown...but like Tie Guy and digl I have Cable...
Artoo Posted January 7, 2002 Posted January 7, 2002 hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, I'm on a 56k but it hasn't slowed me down at all. That is very strange.
Rogue15 Posted January 7, 2002 Posted January 7, 2002 it only takes it a while to load (5-15 seconds), but does not hinder my posting operations!
Clefo Posted January 7, 2002 Posted January 7, 2002 It dosen't take long for me to load it, although its kinda obtrusive cause I run at 800X600...
digl Posted January 7, 2002 Posted January 7, 2002 then run at 1024x768 you should get used to it quickly
Clefo Posted January 8, 2002 Posted January 8, 2002 High Resolutions hurt my eyes for some weird reason...

Eets Posted January 8, 2002 Posted January 8, 2002 Running at high resolutions will hurt your eyes if you only run em for a short while. Keep your screen at a high resolution for a day or so and your eyes will get used to it.
Unregistered Posted January 8, 2002 Posted January 8, 2002 It is slow. Real slow. I've started to post with multple windows to slow down waits! But, I accept it with this thought:" Those ads keep these forums running!
