youngrascal
When I play RS on my PC, when I thrust ahead the camera view zooms out so that the x-wing is too small (too far away) to control. I am using a Wingman Extreme joystick. I use the thrust lever for thrust/brake. When I move to 100% thust the camera angle (initially from behind) moves away. When I brake it doesn't move back. I have to quickly switch to a different view (e.g. side or back view) and switch back to get back. I usually have to press F2 then F3. But this really sucks in the heat of battle. Have you heard about this happening? What can I do? Tia
Redwing
That's odd. My advice is ignore any joystick throttles. Mine doesn't have that problem, but the throttle can't go up to full speed and constantly brakes. I don't think RS works very well with Z axes. edlib
Same thing happens to me occasionally. It's worst when I use the Falcon. I usually jump to the ****pit view when it happens. It occurs in Rogue Leader as well, but not as often.
Wraith 8
But with the falcon when u used it... it shot so far forward it was out of control... i hated when that happened.
Acharjay
That happens to me on the faster craft, such as the A-Wing. And in the X-Wing when I hit the thruster then close my S-Foils, I zoom waaay ahead. Good for getting away from homing missiles though

Rogue15
The Z Axis is best used with the gamepad, or so I'm told. Snooozer told me, so it must be true.
youngrascal
Thanks for your suggestions and help. It seems the turbo wasn't just limited to the joystick throttle (as you guys already seem to know). I like to maintain turbo when moving between spots. So i'll have to change my game play...
