New Forum Graphics

Carl,

The red and black was a fragmented format... A nice clean logo up top running smoothly into the forum tables looks more pleasing naturally to the eye.

Further, as I stated earlier, these colors come directly from Kyle's clothing... so they have a bit of meaning.. rather than just random colors... hopefully people appreciate subtle meanings behind things.

As I also said, I'll be working on several more designs, then I'll just let the forum pick which one they like best.

The chamber design seems a bit busy to me at the moment, but I will be tweaking those colors tonight... and work on 2 additional designs this weekend.. one being more jedi lightsaber red based as well...

There... that's as mild as I'm going with the background... seems to blend well.

By the way.. all these colors from the forums actually come right from Kyle's clothes.. if anyone was wondering.

thx for changing that tone of blue. this one doesn't hurt me eyes at all.

Thanks for changing that awful light blue, Aristotle. The scheme is excellent now (dim grey with that dark blue, and that lighter, dusty blue in the background).

I dont like the 'chamber' version though - it's much too cheerful ;)

Please keep Kyle's graffiti as the banner cos it's the best!

I'm inclined to agree with you. ;) If nothing else, it's easy on the eyes, but I think it looks good anyway. 8)

Definitely keep that banner...it's excellent (I've got that wallpaper on my desktop right now. ;) ).

Yeah, the main graphic is great except for the title. I don't like the font or the zebra-texture thing.

Do I smell a hint of Photoshop Mosaic Tiles Filter? But I agree, comes across like a site pushing the "Rythmic Styles of Nairobi." I'd go slightly more gothic with it, but not too much. Of course, I'm a graphics major (graduating in May, hint hint), and I like to pretend I know what I'm talking about.
