I have no problem with rap, I enjoy it.

Favorite artistes are: (favorite song from that artist are in brakets)

_DR.DRE (Let's get high)

_SNOOP DOG (Murder was the case that they gave me)

_BUSTA RYHMES (Break ya neck/Fire it up)

And I hate Notorious BIG and Puff Daddy, or should I say P.Diddy. WEST SIDE RULES

Fisrt rap song I enjoyed was "Can't Touch This" by MC HAMMER... geez that was such a long time ago, time flies.

I wish i could get the vanity license plate "2LGT2QT."

Also I find Busta Ryhmes to be a better actor than 'musician.' His performance in Shaft was quite well done. Actually for as overlooked a movie as Shaft (2000) was there was lots of good acting in it. Sam Jackson made a good Shaft and whoever played Peoples was a convincing Puerto Rican drug dealer.

Best rap artist of all time TUPAC SHAKUR

Best rap song of all time: Hit'em up by 2pac

BTW I'm watching a medium weight boxing game (happening in Nevada...):

CANADA vs USA and it just finished with the Canadian "Tokundo" dominating and doing some major American ass kicking and knock out after 4 rounds.

:D :D :D :D :D :D

Speeking of music, has anyone here heard the song, Variations on "The Carnival of Venice"?

I have the score that was played by Wynton Marsalis, most likely the best trumpet player in the world. I love playing this song so I play it almost every day. I just love the look and comments poeple give me whenever I play it.

why is it that every time i see a "rap" video, i normally see some models in very little clothing, and brest implants, shaking thier butt in front of the camera.

if that is what rap artists like, i dont think i will ever buy one of their CDs. And i find most of the topics and and lyrics extreamly vulger

Indeed so.

It depends on what exactly 'vulgar' is to the social climate. I'm certain that quite a few operas were considered to be vulgar in some form. (I know Carmina Burana's vulgar or something considering I've heard it referred to as the opera from hell, but it was done in the 1930s)

UPDATE: a random lines from Carmina Burana:

I give myself to vice,

unmindful of virtue,

I am eager for the pleasures of the flesh

more than for salvation,

my soul is dead,

so I shall look after the flesh

There also appears to be a section that could be inferred to be about lesbianism, some kind of orgy, bondage (<i>that kind</i> of bondage), and prostitution.

Show me one straight man who doesn't like seeing women shaking their butts, implants and little closing? Anyway watch some more videos not all of them are like that. Other music genres have that but you just choose to ignore them and put all the blame on rap. Also it seems better than gothic, evil, devil worship crap put out by INDUSTRIAL and punk rock.

WHOA. Goth metal is different than industrial.

Rammstein, for example, doesn't endorse Satan (as far as I can tell). They just instruct me to rape small children, burn things, rape my daughter, burn more things, and call me a pathetic animal all for a hideous gimmick. Blame KMFDM.
