JPMaximilian
So far we know of 5 weapons for sure, 6 if you count the saber. The plan is to have 10 weapons total, what do you think they'll be? A force pike, vibro-blade, hold-out blaster, the possibilities go on and on.
Redwing
As Kenn (from Raven) has clearly stated already, there will be more than ten weapons in Jedi Outcast.
Wacky_Baccy
Hello! And welcome! Please leave any lingering remnants of your sanity on the conveniently placed shelf by the door - you won't be needing them here... You should recieve your Official LucasForums Welcome Basket™ from Boba Rhett, and a Chocolate Jedi Medallion From StormHammer within the next day or two, probably much less As regards your post- Originally posted by JPMaximilian So far we know of 5 weapons for sure, 6 if you count the saber. Only 6 have been Officially announced, but the screenshots have given us evidence that others will (almost) certainly be in too The list is as follows: 1. Lightsaber (Ignited and not) 2. Bryar Pistol 3. Storm Trooper Rifle (E-11 Blaster Rifle) 4. Thermal Detonators 5. Bowcaster 6. Destructive Electro-Magnetic Pulse 2 Gun (DEMP) 7. Golan Arms FC-1 (Flechette) 8. Disruptor 9. Stun Baton And there's at least two more to go (Kenn said more than ten, and I reckon it'll be twelve ) Enjoy your stay!

If it is more than 10 weapons, will the weapon configuartion work like MoTS, where you press 1 twice you get a different weapon? I think they should make Death Star's Laser into a weapon... JPMaximilian
I've been hoping for a Stokhli Spray Stick ever since I heard of JKII. Does anyone else think it would be a cool weapon to stun and disable attackers with? You could even use it as a rope, (like in Heir to the Empire or Dark Forces Rising). It would be hard to pull off but I'm sure Raven could do it.

Probably a Bruce Lee kick in the jewels ( ow ) I wonder in JKII if you can take a stormtrooper's armor...or ANYONE's clothes as disguise... Wacky_Baccy
I have absolutely no idea of what you're talking about JP (explain tho, it sounds interesting), but I agree that RAVEN could do almost anything if they put their minds to it It is highly unlikely than any weapon not in now will be put in as they are already at the beta stage, but if this thing is as good as you say, then there's a chance it's there already
JPMaximilian
If you haven't read The Thrawn Trilogy or whatever its called, or the Essential Guide to Weapons and Tech you'd have no clue what a Stokhli Spray Stick is. That said its a a weapon that shoots goey liquid that solidifies when it comes in contact with air, or after a little time passes or something and hardens around whatever it hits to form a web. You can spray nets to capture people or animals with them. They can also be adjusted to fire a single string that forms a rope (Like in Heir to the Empire or it might be on of the other two books, who knows). Anyway I thought that would be cool. Not going to happen though. I can always dream of what JKII would be like with a Stokhli Spray Stick, but its too late now. Maybe in the Jedi Outcast II: Jedi Uses Stokhli Spray Stick. Enough said. Toa Tahu
Then how would we configure our more-than-ten weapons?Like MoTS,where you press '1' twice and get 2 different weapons?I hope LEC and Raven would clarify. Kenn?I've never heard of him,but anyway,we all do hope for more weapons... The flechette is the Golan Arms FC-1(Swamp Trooper weapon)? Why is is called flechette? The 'flechette' sounds like a stick, preferably the stick those overweight-fat idiots use in the JK Lv. 2 ramp, the stick which can maul 40 health at once. The DEMP-2 looks interesting,as someone said( no conc),I hope it could replace the conccusion rifle. And,i hope that all weapons would be more powerful for JO. Executor32
Judging by the screenshot of the weapon selection HUD, I'd say the weapon selection is going to be like Half-Life, in which weapons were grouped into mini-menus and pressing the number keys would open one of the mini-menus and scroll through it with each press. Either that, or it's a new system controlled by a mouse scroll wheel or next/prev weapon keys. Kenn is none other than Kenn Hoekstra, the head honcho of the JKII project at Raven, and he goes by the handle KISS Army here. Yes, the flechette launcher and the Golan FC-1 are the same weapon. However, the weapon is a flechette launcher, and the rounds that it fires are called flechettes. The "overweight fat idiots" in level 2 of JK are Gamorreans, the guards from Jabba's palace in RotJ, and their weapon is something we like to call an axe. The DEMP-2 will not be at all similar to the conc. The primary fire shoots out a concentrated energy ball which is very effective against droids, probes and other mechanical devices. The secondary fire produces fast attacks that cause radius damage to droids and living things. Doesn't sound much like a conc, does it?

Rat Boy
The Spray Stick always reminded me of Spiderman. I can see a bunch of fan-made Spiderman skins cropping up if the Stick is one of the 10+ weapons.

Enjoy Eh...you made a small mistake there Vag... Wookie Bowcaster Type: Bowcaster Scale: Rifle Range: 50 meters Fire-Rate: Semi-Automatic Ammo: 6 rounds Used By: Chewbaca, Various Wookies* Comments: This is the famous weapon of Chewbaca the Wookie. The Bowcaster that we saw in JK and MotS didn't really look right, to me. I know that it wasn't a "true" Bowcaster, and that it was modified by the Sand People, but still, it had green bolts, and just didn't seem to behave like Chewie's did. If the Bowcaster is indeed to make an appearance in JKII, I hope it makes a triumphant return, modeled properly, as shown here. It was Maw's Grave Tuskens who modified it, not the Sand People from Tatooiine

SlowbieOne
It would be cool if they bring back fists. As long as there is at least more than 1 punch unlike JK.

Spider AL
I have to say, I'm in total agreement with slowbie. A useful unarmed combat element to the game would really appeal to me. (and no doubt to other martial arts enthusiasts. ) A kicking option would have to be present too though...

A Big Fat CoW
i just had a pretty good (though maybe slightly off-topic) idea.. atleast, i think it is.. a lot of the guns in that list look alike and/or function alike. maybe someone could make a mod (because i doubt they would do this in the initial release), so maybe have a hotkey, that when you pressed it, the weapon you were currently holding would cycle through different modles for that gun, say, bryar pistol to blastech DL-44, to Merr-Sonn power 5 (wasnt listed, but its in the tech guide), etc etc. it shouldnt really change the power or effect of the weapon, maybe make its projectiles look different as well, but not make it into a different-functioning gun.. i know its kinda dumb, but im (one of the few) part-time roleplayers in the original JK, and it'd just be cool.. heh. and dont say it isnt possible or would be too hard, cuz its even possible in the original JK (look at saber battle X 3.0, when you change your saber color, the handle changes design. simply do this with every weapon and poof) dumb idea? most likely. ill shut up now because im babbling about nothing and this post is almost completely pointless..
