HEY, I AM SERIOUS,

god damn, and no, i'm not spending my time "primping" or whatever. I'm doing voice lessons, guitar lessons AND dance lessons, so please, grow up. Famous people aren't all looks, and no talent, you know..

Jesus christ, GROW THE HELL UP YOU GUYS [minus the "high society ;)"]

I can't sing :p even if I did try- ohhhhh guitar lessons? I always wanted to play the drums :D Hmmmmmms I remember when me and my friends tried to start a band at school- never happened, ummmm 'creative differences' ;)

Frenchy? I never said you weren't serious, I just wanted to make sure you were doing it coz you wanted to and not coz your parents were forcing you or whatever coz I don't think it's right people should be forced into something they don't wanna do, but since they're not forcing you into anything you don't wanna do, then it's fine :) I'm happy for ya.

For the rest of you guys- instead of complaining, don't you think we should be happy for Frenchy? Think about it, when she becomes famous, we can sell all her old posts on the forum to big newspapers and make a fortune from them :D JK Frenchy- we (ok I) wouldn't do that, but at least I can say "I knew that girl from the net waaaaaaaaaay before she became famous and I miss those days when she became obsessed with punk music''

I say go Frenchy, GB122, - shut up, it's her decision to leave, she's not being selfish or anything, it's only a frigging forum, you're acting like you were going out with her or something. Besides, she doesn't need to go anywhere to "become "beautiful"", she already is :)

Beligerent= war like, the dictionary went into much greater detail, but I think war like describes it pretty well :)

Frenchy said a few weeks ago she was gonna leave, and she's popped back in over the last few days and since then people have been mean about it saying she's wasting her time blah blah blah blah (ok I said that too, but I tried not to be rude about it, I just wanted to make sure Frenchy knew that becoming famous is pretty slim and she should be prepared incase it never eventuates- still I got faith in Frenchy and I have no doubt we can sell her old forum posts for a hefty price :D)

Feral has a website called foolish world and he wrote an article on how silly fame is, which the article can be found here

http://feral.topcities.com/fame.htm

I do think we're over reacting a bit- like Murta said, it is Frenchy's decision with what she wants to do with her life, we don't own her or dictate what she should do with her life, it is her life and if she wants to become fit, then that's fine, are you gonna have a go at me coz I joined a gym to get fit and lose weight? Whats the difference between me doing that and Frenchy doing whatever she's doing so she can become famous? If Frenchy is happy then that's all we should worry about, right?

thats got me pinned :)

for the record, i didnt mean to be mean...I just meant to make a statement. Hell, if nobody tried to become famous we wouldn't have any famous people. all i wanted to say is that that's a pretty solid decision and you should have NUMEROUS back-up plans etc...because i think frenchy is putting all her eggs in one basket. and leaving the forums is no way to get famous...actually, (if you think about it) it sorta helps. so if frenchy becomes famous we all know her. so we (coming from all different places) spread her fame to our friends and BAM, shes famous. but i still think its kind of niave (sp?) of frenchy to want to be liked in quantity...because when you are famous, people dont like YOU, they like your image.

dear god i hope nobody meant to dictate her. thats the worst form of government and is basically slavery. im (we) are trying to get her to see it from a different angle, and see that perspective on things. you know, get her to be more open minded

´the fellowship of the ring, the two towers, the return of the king,

and silmarillion, the unfinished tales , the legend of the ring and then the hobbit. (i have read the trilogy and simarillion)

He wrote The Hobbit long before he wrote The Lord of the Rings. The Simarillion is about the elves, not Gandalf (although it does mention Gandalf near the end of the book), which covers almost everything from "the creation of the world" to the Second Age (IIRC). It was not really written so much as a book--What's in The Simarillion are notes Tolkien made throughout the years in regards to the background history of the fantasy world which he had created, which his son compiled and published as a book after Tolkien had passed away.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy is just that: a trilogy of three books, comprised of The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King. (Although there are sub-books within these books.) The other books are not part of this trilogy. You can consider them to be "supplemental" reading.

Sorry, any series that doesn't have exactly three distinct episodes isn't a trilogy. The Star Wars trilogy is used to describe episodes 4-6; the originals. Since there were only 3 movies in existence from 1983-1999, the "trilogy" tag sort of stuck.

As for LoTR, it's really supposed to be one unit with 6 volumes. There are 2 volumes for each book released (at least, I think that's how it works).

yep brief. silmarillion is silmaril in plural(elf lngauge), and the silmarils were created by Fëanor, the greatest elv of them all.he created them from the tree of light to bring the world light when the tree was destroyed. Melkor , who became morgoth, was the first dark lord and saurons boss. he took the silmarils and went back to middle earth. That started a war between morgoth and the elves.

the book is kinda boring.

The unfinished tales has got facts about istari (the 5 wizards)

and other stuff.it has about 500 pages.

The legend of the ring tells us everything (almost) about all living kinds, like trolls, ents, dwarfs, hobbits, humans, elves and orchs.

it also has a part named the adventures of tom bombadill,

the guy in the old forest

/me realises he's stumbled into nerd zone and slowly realises that he has no understanding of anything here

j/k, I've never been into Tolkien/Discworld/stuff - basically fantasy. That is except for the Alan Garner books The weirdstone Of Brinsingamen, The Moon Of Gomrath and Elidor (mainly read the first two because they were based near where I live, but the evil people and the wizards and dwarves and stuff were cool)

Oh and the excellent Amber series by Roger Zelazny (just plain cool, sorta medievil in setting, but parts are modern and these guys almost have superpowers, like the main character in the first one can regenerate and stuff, some guy burnt his eyeballs out with pokers and locked him in this dungeon for years and his eyes slowly grew back cos he's super and stuff

farty schmarty pants
